timeline and status update for 2-Way passport request from IRCC and process time from VFS , Applicants from India

Hello I have received the 2 way courier instructions email. Should I email vsf to ask for the next step? Any idea please advise?

If you agree to proceed with courier service as mentioned in IRCC email then E-mail VFS. To email VFS use the e-mail ID mentioned in your 2-way courier correspondence from delhi visa office . VFS will send you instructions through email regarding your passport pickup and delivery courier service. Also call them after you send the e-mail to VFS, it may help to expedite OR VFS may take a few days to reply to you but if you call it may be done quickly. If you do call VFS(02268539025 ) just be patient and wait, VFS will answer ultimately(there may be long hold).

Tell VFS that you have received the 2-way courier email and you would like to arrange pickup for the service. You can add your pickup location in e-mail. I would suggest call VFS as it may be done over the phone.

Today i sent mail to VFS global to arrange for 2-way courier service for passport collection. But i immediately got an automated response that i need to include air way bill number. What is this ? Did anyone noticed?

Is there any correspondence on your CIC account for passport request..? Basically first should be passport request and then -way courier e-mail. In your case may be passport request letter is delayed. Best way will be to write and e-mail to Delhi mission office. Check again you may have passport request in your online CIC account.

Best way is to call VFS, they are the one who will provide you waybill number once you pay for courier and to pay you need to contact VFS.

I still don't have any correspondence for Passport request on CIC account. Still the application is in progress. May be because of weekend it's not updated. So strange they are doing it other way around. I guess it's 2020 so can't complain.. if I get an approved letter I would be so lucky to get in just 2 weeks.

How much time they take to pickup our courier after they initiate pickup. Also i am confused how do we pay them?

I would suggest calling them, it’s much faster this way. They will send you the payment link while you’re on the phone and give you the AWB. The pickup is usually scheduled for the next business day.

Hey thanks for your reply. Can you DM me the phone number. As the phone number is not mentioned in my 2-way courier mail. Only contact email is mentioned.
