Timeline after passport was submitted

Hi all,

I have pass medical exams, and received request to send my passport, which I did. On June14, 2016.
From Montreal, Canada. And they received it the next day in Ottawa, Canada.

I need to go out of Canada for a week and need to book my flights.

For how long do they usually hold on to the passport??

Nevermind, Just received it today!
This morning Tuesday online status got updated to "Decision made" and today itself also received in the mail my passport along with letter confirmation of Permanent Residence.

So happy!

My timeline:

Applied for PR from Montreal thru the Quebec skilled worker program.
Application sent to Ottawa Sept.2015
Filed opened and payment taken Dec.31, 2015
My files was complete. No documents were missing
Request for medical May2016
Medical results received and confirmed end of May2016
Request to send passport June2016
Passport sent June 14,2016 (along with prepaid express-canada post return envelope)
Passport return, received June 28,2016, along with letter comfirming PR.
