timeframe for Ottawa Visa Office applicants?

I thought I would make a separate post about this. At this point is there an official approx time estimate of how long it would take to get Outland PR thru family class sponsorship thru the Ottawa Visa office? My fiance, who I will be marrying in June, is American, and from what I understand American applicants packages go to the Ottawa office to process. I have been told there is a backlog there or there was. It used to be anywhere from 4-8 months that people were getting their PR. Now I hear it can be up to 10 if not even more. I am curious does anyone know the approx timeframe that I would most likely be looking at? Is taking most people a year now? Or 8 months, or what? I am hoping we could have all of our papers put together and sent off by July or August at the latest. Just wondering when he could come here after that/how long of a wait we are looking at (as I am disabled and needing his assistance). Thanks.

Still can't do anything with that link. I just looked on the website and it says 62 days for processing in Ottawa. That doesn't make sense. I assume that is after the sponsorship approval and then very well after that as well since people are saying it is taking them 10 months or longer. I am curious in months on average how long it can take from the time you send off the papers to the time the sponsored person gets their PR and can come over. Thanks.

The link works now.

62 days is the time for sponsor approval. After that the file goes to the right VO, Ottawa in your case. So it's 62 days plus whatever the current time is for your VO.

I found a spreadsheet but found it confusing and hard to read. Does anyone know or have a very good idea of the timeframe from start to finish for the Ottawa VO? I could spend literally hours looking thru that thread that I don't have :

You don't need to read the entire thread. The spreadsheet shows that those who applied in June-July 2014 are being processed at the moment. So that's 10-11 months (including stage 1).

Look at the spreadsheet again. As per the simple legend at the top, yellow means done. Scroll down to where the yellow mostly stops and look at the application received column. Right now, it's around June-July 2014, i.e. June-July 2014 applicants are finishing now. Seriously, it's pretty straightforward.
