Time to receive file number?

Hello,
I sent my papers for spousal sponsorship on 19 july, 2012. and still waiting for any confirmation or file number etc from Mississauga office.
Can anyone guide me , how much time they take to reply back, in any case of mistake or sending file number etc if there is no mistake in papers filed.

you should get one soon... check your email junk box, you might have an email there... but you should be hearing from them real soon... as they are working on files around 25th july or so... so ur file must be being handled or close to it...

Actually they are working on files received on June 25th so you will hear soon but not quite there yet. CIC updates weekly on a Wednesday with their revised dates but yours should be close ;D

Hello...you will have a little bit of wait yet I am afraid....currently they are working on files up to June 25th.....they have processed a couple of July 17th files....but realistically you should go by the the website....which is not overly accurate...have I totally confused you...I hope not

I sent my papers on july 19 and they should have received them on 22-23 july. DO they confirmation of reciept or file number etc, or what you told like above, they are checking the papers received on June 25 till now?

exactly...you will probably not hear anything till the end of September....just keep checking the website...it is usually updated on Wednesday afternoons with the new dates and processing times....just remember the times they post are approximates....
