time given in which passport must be submitted after PPR

Hi,

I have applied under provincial nominee (I am already in Canada on a work permit) and had my medical tests earlier this week. I had a couple of questions and would greatly appreciate if someone could share the info.

1. How long does it typically take for the passport to be requested, after med exams?

2. How much time is one allowed in the PPR, within which they must submit their passport?

3. How long does it typically take the immigration authorities to return the passport?

I need to know the above as I was making some travel plans outside Canada in August, and I am trying to figure out if that would be feasible.

Each around one month. In total around 3 to 4 months.

Ah, thanks for the help, ttrajan. I guess it's best if I postpone my vacation plan for a while then, and get this PR stuff sorted out.
