Wait. You can order GCMS notes to see where the app is at in the process. Takes 30 days, sometimes more, to get the notes.

Plan for the whole process to take a year. Canada warns you that 80% of sponsorships will be completed within a year. Some take longer.

Medicals are typically completed earlier in the sponsorship process. Background and security checks are likely being processed now - as well as the full review of your applications. These activities take some time to complete (especially the background and security checks).
