You can say that again, Woohoo !!! indeed, Things certainly moved slowly and then picked up She has to land by Sept 9 which is also our Son's 18th birthday. I was wondering why such a short time but then remembered that her medicals expire on that date.

My wife received her passport with visa stamp and copr from buffalo this morning

Yay!! Can I ask how long they had her passport for? We're waiting for my husband's to come back because he has a job offer already :S

And about her medicals expiring.....I read what chinook had to say about this, and now I'm kinda convinced that people who do their medicals just a little bit earlier so as to have them in danger of expiring do get moved up by CIC. Oh well.

I agree with you there. When I was told my medicals should have been one of the very last things to do, my stomach dropped. I was so eager to get everything done as quickly as possible. To be honest, I didn't read through all the instructions carefully. If anyone blatantly tries to do this to game the process, they're taking a big risk, especially if their app gets held up for any reason...

Spiritrac.....could you share the photo specs needed for PPR. I thought I better get those done and keep 'em ready. Could you share if anything else is needed before going to Buffalo for PPR. Were you able to find a place in USA which does them in exact specs? I know few folks have had problems with that.

Yeah, you can't have your medicals expiring within a few months of Buffalo getting the file and expect them to rush your file to the head of the line.....but if you time it *just* right . Ah well.....

sooo excited to learn that my tracking number has been activated today! I sent my passport to fort erie, ont. On july 25th they received it on july 27th and they are just now returning it!! Perfect anniversary present, aug 28th (12 yrs)!! Wooohooo!! Can't wait to land going to Niagara falls labor day weekend. Oh yeah and my ecas finally updated (we went from app recvd in buffalo to PPR) after PPR we got updated to in process, meds recvd, then this weekend to decision made. Keeping my fingers crossed for you all!!

My wife got the pictures taken at a Walgreen's Pharmacy. The photo requirements are very specific and some people are not familiar with them she had to go back to the store to a specific person who was familiar with the photo's and was able to make the adjustment. here is the link for the photo specifications

I used Walgreen's too. I would advise taking the paper with the specifications and your own ruler, since their machines aren't set up to automatically make the photos with the right specifications. Hopefully, you will get someone helpful who will work with you (through some trial and error) to get the right size printed.

3 weeks. her passport was sent on August 3, we got it today August 24th

Eek, this makes me nervous! I can't submit my passport until September 13th as I am out of the country until then and kind of need it! If it takes Buffalo 3 weeks to get my visa back to me, that would be after my medicals expire! I can't imagine they would issue me an already expired visa would they? :-[

So, I read that most may of group have received their AORs, does this mean anything? in other words is the process moving or we are still stuck in february and march groups?
