Thank you OhCanadiana, our plan was exactly that, taking the ferry from Digby to St John, maybe spend the day in St John, go at night to the border, spend the night on the other side, do some shopping the next day, then go back to Halifax making it a circle trip, but never thought of the Minister's Island, we will defiantly look into that because it sounds interesting, plus I heard that it is going to be nice this weekend around that area
) I am so excited, I can't wait, I have been under so much stress for so long, a little getaway is much much needed

Have you considered taking the ferry one way and making it a circle trip (St. John, New Brunswick to Digby, Nova Scotia) or stopping by Minister's Island to drive on the ocean's bottom at low tide (super cool!) to make it more of a vacation/celebration?
