Note:
The right of permanent resident fee is 490 not 550. You can pay it now to avoid further delay in during process, but you can still pay it later upon request by CIC VO handling your application.

Great, thank you.

Great, thank you.

I have heard of it delaying the process by 8 weeks....not really worth it to me.....Time is precious!

Yeah ive been getting the run around since day one.I have a friend that works for immigration in Edmonton and she said I got a bad officer. There either new or just wanting to be a real tool.Because they have requesting things from when I was a minor and all sorts of B.S.
I hope my app is not with a bad officer. I already see 'doghouse' who applied after me going into 'in process', while I'm still at 'app received' stage.

You should include Option C that you can request from Revenue Canada.

Could you elaborate on that? I haven't heard of Option C before. Thank you! :)

If you read through your checklist in the application guide you will find where it explains the option C printout....It is very simple....you need to contact revenue canada and ask for your option C printout....you can tell them its for immigration purposes....it doesn't take very long to get...also doesn't cost anything to request....call 1-800-959-8281...you will need one for the sponsor and co-signer (if you have one)

hope that helps :)

Hi, I need to send my medical now and FBI later on. Which address should I send them to please?

It's one of the important documents that should be included in the application, so it's great you got it.

Actually kitchloo, there is a phone number listed for the immigration section but I don't know of anyone on this thread who has called, so I can't say whether the phone actually gets picked up and how helpful the response would be.

There's no phone number available for Buffalo. Yeah, I would send an email. If they don't respond with something that answers the question sufficiently enough, get your MP to contact them on your behalf. Meanwhile, order GCMS notes: http://immipedia.ca/Ordering_FOSS_and_CAIPS_notes.

Back in October my husband got a letter requesting the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, which we paid online right away, as well as faxing the receipt to Mississauga and Buffalo. The letter also said that an interview would not be required.

Why haven't we heard anything since then? This is so nerve wracking! Should we call them or keep waiting endlessly?

;GOT PPR THIS MORNING!!! Just under 9 months from date of mailing application. Now if I could only reach my husband to tell him!!! (He actually got the PPR - I'm still a Canadian ciitizen) Now the work begins to relist the house and figure out the 2nd half of this process:) Just had to share with someone!!!

I was about to say, "I don't remember having to send that in," but I just went and looked at the checklist and realized it's a supporting document that is specifically not requested if the sponsor is in Quebec.
