Welp, another week gone by and no PPR. Not even a teensy e-cas update. I'm starting to think perhaps I kicked a puppy or something in a past life and the CIC/Buffalo are karma's way of getting me back.

Actually... that's not valid.

When Buffalo replies with the "Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete" message, it was sent by someone who hasn't a clue and likely didn't even look at your file.

This was the response received each time we sent several different updates -- NONE of which were recorded on our file, and it was WELL before our file was even remotely "in progress".

If you receive a similar e-mail to this, I'd suggest you assume that they just hit that little key on their keyboard that says "Del" and rather than the system sending you an automated message that your e-mail was deleted without being opened, it sends you this one. CIC likely considers it a "feature" not a "bug."

so today I received an email back from Information Request Office and it said that they need an extension of 30 days as they could not process it in 30days. I wonder if it is backlog or my file is messed up. :-X

What a crummy way to end a Friday afternoon!

Was that for your GCMS notes? I requested mine on Oct. 24th via email. I didn't get that email today, but if I do I'll let you know!

Yes it was for the GCMS notes and I mailed it in oct and received on oct 5 , then a few days ago i emailed another request , and now i receive this email.I guess at least someone looked at my email and did not etirely shrug it off, so there is a glimpse of hope.

Yeah, all I've received so far was the automatic response to let me know that my email had been received.

Yea I got that response too, but this email that I received was not for the email request that I sent a few days ago as I gave up on the one I mailed in Oct, but then now they emailed me and told me they need extension to process the mailed one. in a month i 'l get another email telling me they need extension to process the email one. lol, what a mess/joke/.

I got that same email when I requested my GCMS notes.Then within a couple days I got an email saying disregard the previous email It was a mistake In the system and heres your GCMS notes.So hopefully thats what happen with you also.

I totally sympathize. This is getting old.....and I'm not even as far into it as others are.

Likely backlog. Did you ask for anything else, like the medical file?

This week has decided not to bring anymore PPR hmmm, hopefully nextweek will bring some goodnews. Anyway we order GCMS note last month (oct) via mail but not sure about the actual date and will like to know what email id we should send the inquiry to as to when should be getting the Note or should we waiting until we receive it.

Yippie fees paid medical done FBI fingerprints back...ready to send in and went to UPS to have sent BUT they will not because of the address I had was a p o box.
I thought I read somewhere to send UPS ect so its signed for but then again I either have the wrong address or I read this about something else.
