i dont know why buffaloo slowin down tooo much like they are doin this last periode !!!!!

i hope as a lot here that they try to accelerate and get move again to let us get our pp request

We received a letter from Buffalo today stating that they did not initially see a need for an interview and that we had 90 days to send them the FBI certificate - interestingly, I emailed them last week asking if they had received the certificate and they had replied to my email that they had it. Who knows what is going on there. I emailed them back stating that they had told me they had it so we shall see what they have to say about this. We did send away for a second FBI certificate back in June but have not received that as of yet.

Why cant Buffalo keep track of stuff that is sent to them? *sigh*

hmmmmmm y did u send away for another FBI certificate in june? i would copy and paste their email to them and ask them y they sent u a letter that makes no sense

ur getting closer tho ;D

Between leaving work and coming home, the e-Cas Tracker service I signed up for sent me an email stating the following:

Latest update:

A decision has been made on "__________________"'s application. The office will contact "__________________" concerning this decision.

When I check the tracker myself, under the Permanent Residence Application Status it says: "Decision Made" and the following:

We started processing "__________________"'s application on August 2, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on "__________________"'s application. The office will contact "__________________" concerning this decision.

What does this mean? It can't be a good sign... can it?

Any insight is appreciated.

We sent away for another one because other peoples have been lost and I wanted to make sure that I had another one to send them if they lost ours. I didnt want the 90 days to run out while we waited for the FBI to take 120+ days to process another clearance.

I responded to their email that they sent that indicated that they had our certificate and asked how I could assist them in getting it put in our file.

@ Lysiana - this means your application has been finished processing! It could be a refusal but it probably likely means that you will get your passport request soon!! Congrats! ;D ;D

*edit* Then again it has been a very short processing time. Hopefully it is not bad news. The status on the website is the same whether you got a PPR or got refused. You didn't have an interview, right?

What are the details of your application? Are you married, common-law, conjugal, same sex partners, divorced, remarried, kids from other marriages, American, etc.

Yeah, this was a just in case also because I was terrified that they would either loose it or it would expire and they would request another one.

You didn't have an interview, right?

No, we did not have an interview. Before this happened this afternoon, the only communication we had was the AOR dated Aug 2, 2010, that my husband received on Aug 6th, 2010.

@heatherusa

We were married in February 2010. Canadian-American; neither of us is naturalized; we are in our mid-20's with no prior marriages.

There's nothing really peculiar about our relationship.

@SaugaBoss

Thank you for the encouraging words. I really appreciate them right now.

This whole immigration process will drive me to drink....

Well my guess is that you will get your passport request very soon then, because there is nothing unusual about your relationship. Makes me feel optimistic about things getting done fast. Good Luck!

i agree with heatherusa.... there are ppl who get their ppr in 3 months keep us posted!

Heather: They are absolutely nuts!! I hope they don't 'lose' my FBI.. I just ordered it a week ago 'just in case' so it would still take awhile to come in.

Lysiana, I think that means you are almost finished!!! I hope so!!! Send your fast vibes my way :D :D

Lysiana - if no interview and Can/US citizens and no criminal history than it probably is a PPR. But it is extremely unusual for an application to be approved in 2 weeks processing time, I think??

I'm going to be sooo jealous if you get your PPR!!! :P

Can they refuse you without an interview?

Why didn't they ask for an interview?

How long does it take for Medicals to reach Buffalo from the Ottawa repository?

I'm feeling very anxious about this whole thing. Darn tracker is too efficient!
