Its good to know It wasnt a big hassle to get while In Canada.Did you pay extra fees to get them sent to Canada or just provide a prepaid envelope with the request?

I honestly can't remember. I think one (or two?) of them were completed 100% online - we just had to pay a fee and print the results - and there was no mailing involved. Unfortunately I can't remember how the ones by mail were processed...

No - you don't have to travel to the US. My husband obtained all four of his while living as a visitor in Canada. They were way easier to obtain than the FBI cert.

We never knew about that..We mean't need help or a link on how to obtain Ohio State Police Check bcos my wife has live in Cleveland too before moving to Canada...Just wanna be proactive to avoid more delay.

Bcos we only submitted the FBI check with no record.

Medicals are due to expire on October 12th... 9 days from now.

Our file got transferred to LA last month, now I'm worried about the medical we never did get a "Medicals received" update from Buffalo
and now with the transfer I'm worried they won't open our file, until AFTER the medicals expire.

Any suggestions? It says in the letter notifying us of the xfer to LA that we aren't to contact them for 90 days,
and i have already contacted them once asking if they could just let us know they had received our application from Buffalo...but no word.

It's too quiet here today...We need more movement!! lol

Yeah, I'm from March... still waiting... /sigh

Not from March, but I'm still waiting from February.

We did get an ECAS update, but it was "We started processing your application on March 23, 2011"... uhhh, I call BS since I've emailed Buffalo since them and was told that my application was "in queue". I'm getting so frustrated with the lack of available information and the obvious disregard to their "first come, first served" policy.
