I hate the London office. Why is every office faster than Buffalo? :'(

LOL...I don't think London is faster is it? PPR's seem to come in spurts and it seems to be London's turn at the moment. Buffalo will pick up!! Actually it would be interesting to compare. I have a little informal track of London applicants and the average seems to be now about 104 days from start to finish. It seems to go up a bit every day! Like trying to reach the finish line and they keep moving it! lol I wonder what Buffalo average is!

140-ish.

If buffalo request additional docs and or an interview, it can be 250-300+ days. Hell, RobsLuv and a couple other people had applications that took a couple years to finally get PPR.

Indeed. Although I'm glad to see so many Londoners (and some others) get PPR. We all know how stressful this is, so it's nice to know that not everyone has to endure this for much longer.

Buuuut... I should have been born British. Quick processing, sweet accent... ;)

I can fake a pretty good British/Irish accent when I'm drunk.

Those cases really scare me, I must admit. I am dreading if they ask us for additional documents or want an interview as that will definitely add months and we can kiss the house we want goodbye! Robsluv and the others have real stamina to keep trying and it must have been so heart wrenching!

I dreamt last night that my husband got all the way to the airport but then this VO popped up out of the blue and said that they rejected our application. i woke up in a crazy panic.

eeeeeeeeeesssssssshhhhhhhhhhh... i cannot believe how much control this process has over my life.. really it was this sense of total and utter heart break. and that was just a dream. i can't imagine that happening in real life :(

Actually Pharoh, I felt the same way about Manila as they seem to be so quick!

It does do crazy things to us doesn't it! I have had more than a few panicky dreams and thoughts.

Haha, clearly there's my problem right there: I don't drink :'(.

London, Manila, Beijing, sometimes New Delhi.

If this process doesn't bring you to drink, nothing will...couldn't live without my wine every once in a while, esp on bad days!!

No, you definitely are not the only one...drives us all mad having our lives in limbo, especially the ones that are away from their partners. They have to be the most painful to endure and every day is too long. We are lucky in that respect but I have had my time apart and long distance relationship for two years before I moved to the UK and it about drove me completely insane! You know I think it would be so much better if you knew exactly how long it would take...you could cross the days off the calendar and know you are getting closer. Not knowing whether you will hear anything tomorrow or four months from now...the complete uncertainty...that is what makes it so hard. You just cannot make plans at all. :(

oh god yes. i have been married to my husband since june and and we spent 1 week after the wedding together. i havent seen him in 6 months!! before that we both did the back forth thing and it drove us nuts. sometimes i don't even know how to react to this whole thing. as sad as i am i know that crying won't help solve anything. getting angry gets me no where either. i want to plan our honeymoon and no chance of doing that. i want to have something to look forward to other than the dread of uncertainty about this process. a girl can only shop so much to fill the void!!
