finally my CSQ issued and they told me that it was sent the paper to the embassy ,

Now I want to know what will happen after that? and how much time I will wait for my passport?

Hi! I'm new here. I would just like to follow those who got their DM status on July 20th. Haven't received any yet from the embassy kasi. Inip na inip na husband ko in Canada

Brief timleline:
App. in Canada - Nov. 30, 2009
App. processed - Dec. 23, 2009
App. in Manila - March 24, 2010
App. processed (ECAS) - March 30, 2010
Add requirements - June 18, 2010
Medical's done - June 16, 2010
Med. forwarded - June 24, 2010
Got DM on July 20, 2010

I received additional document request on 27th July and submitted them in person on 28th July
1) Sponsors Job and Residential updated
2) My plans of relocation, mainly wanted copy of my resignation letter.

But have told them cant resign until have a PR, as cant really work in Canada till then.

According to visa clerk i should get visa Very Soon. Fingers crossed.

5 months ago today, my application arrived in Mississauga!

When you first send it in you mentally prepare for the wait, I think its almost worse now that its so much closer! Originally I was hoping to have PR request by the end of August. I don't see that happening now since other quebecois/e people ahead of me still haven't heard anything yet. No news for them means definitely no news for me! My new goal is PPR by October 1st or 2 weeks after Dralon gets his, whichever's faster


I do feel quite lucky that I am in Canada with my husband while all of this is processing. We were long distance for 6 months early in our relationship and that was agonizing enough! My heart goes out to everyone that's separated...

You're about 2 days behind us. We are also in Quebec. Today my husband received an email from Buffalo that his file was transferred to the Los Angeles office to "expedite the process". I hope this means we will get an answer soon! We are also lucky that we are together here in Canada so the waiting isn't that difficult.
