Congrats on sending! I was wondering how long in total it took for you guys to get the FBI clearance back? We are still waiting for ours (requested it on Jan 13)...

They are experiencing higher volume right now, pushing it to an 8-10 week process. In our case, I had to send fingerprints in twice. The first set was "never received" but partially my fault for not sending by FedEx. The second were received but never heard back, never received them. When I inquired, there were no answers for me one way or the other. Took much longer than they should have. This is the reason why my medical (April 2009) is about to expire. Eventually, they could acknowledge that they were there and being processed.

Acknowledged mid-December. Received by FedEx on the 3rd week of February. By this estimate, I would say any day now for you.

Hope that's optimistically helpful. I've only heard a few cases like mine, the rest are very standard.

Oh that's too funny because your situation is very similar to what happened to us. We sent our first request back in October. In January we called them and they said they had sent out the results on Nov 13th but we never received them. So we sent another request right then I January. Argh! We went ahead and sent our application t CIC-M anyways with a litter explaining the situation and that we would forward the FBI certificate as soon as we got ti. We hope CIC-M won't send our app back ??? I've heard others on this forum have had luck with sending the FBI stuff later so I hope we'll get a nice officer to look at our file.

Nope, not yet. It's a bit too early for March folks.

Current times to get sponsor approval is about 66 days. So, we've got a bit longer of a wait. Looking at an average of late April/beginning of May.

I recently seen a post where application was submitted in mid of Feb and they received the confirmation letter in March 10 or something. So probably, status on website is not very reliable..

I will keep my finger cross....

We finally got FBI records (sent middle of Dec, rec'd middle March) and sent our application as well (outside CA, Warsaw office). CPC-M got it this morning.

Just noticed that the CIC website is now showing "55 days" for spousal sponsorship processing! Waiting is tough, but I'm being optimistic about it...

Hi guys, I wouldn't pay too much attention to the website. Times are between 20-30 days one received at CPC. takes 10 days to get the letter though

Hi guys! My wife sent out our sponsorship application to CPC-M last March 9th and by tracking we saw that it was received on March 10th.

I was just wondering what to expect now? What happens next? Are they going to send a receipt notice or do we just have to wait for them to approve the application? Thanks!

Hey Guys!

I've sent my application to CPC-M on 3rd March, 2010... It's gonna be processed later on in Vienna...
So now just waiting... On the site it says they are still processing the ones arrived up to 26th January... and it's 55 days...
I was checking the February group, and most of the people has been approved in 20-25 days. So fingers crossed!!!
