My spouse PR application at New Delhi visa office still saying IN-PROCESS as of May 20, 2010.

How long before i get letter or email or phone call for next step means Passport request or Interview?

In my case they send the letter next day they started working on my file so its possible that their letter is on its way. I have seen it people getting letter from them in 2-3 weeks.

in mi case i got letter after 8 days i think its all bcos im from punjab. it took time for the letter to come from delhi. where r u from?

I am here in Toronto and i sponsored my wife and she is from JALANDHAR CITY, PUNJAB. So u r right i am expecting letter within few days. In ur case they took 8 days as u said. Lets see how long they take in my case. Thanks.

i was in jalandhar yesterday i think its goona take a week. damn postal services. dont worry everything goona be ok. hope this coming week u guys get the letter and passports ;D

I have a status in eCAS!!!! I am in eCAS!!! I never thought this day would come!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I logged in this morning. eCAS tracker sent me an email marked 2 am last night.

It says DECISION MADE. We received your application to sponsor on March 10, 2010.

We sent you a letter on May 27, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I do think that mine was delayed by 2 things--1. it's an application to live in Quebec and that seems to take longer even for the initial sponsorship and 2. We overpaid by $50 (see my previous post) and they had to process a refund which probably took a few days and for some reason that had to be done before my status was entered (probably has something to do with their workflow). That is my guess anyway.
