That looks right.
I went to send my form off today by courier to the P.O. box address, not realizing there was a different address for couriers. (it's not mentioned anywhere on the guides)
Good thing the man at the UPS store knew about this and he had the address handy!
Good luck!

Congrats!
I just got mine sent off an hour ago - It's a HUUUGE wait off my shoulders!!! I had to get it done today as my UK police certificate expires tomorrow! It cost me $50 or so for garanteed next day by noon - it was a 5lb sucker!
Add me to the Julyllites!

Andre, I added you onto our spreadsheet. Thanks for keeping us updated!

Mandy? are you just sending your app now? Yes, if you send by courier, the 2 Robert Speck address is the right one! Let us know when that's done and I'll add you to the spreadsheet.

awor, I'm sorry to hear that. Anyways I'll keep your name on July's spreadsheet in case things turn for the better...

Good luck everyone.

I'm definitely not going to make it into this group, even if I get the background check next week (my husband still hasn't gotten his option c - thank you strike), so you can remove me from the spreadsheet...hopefully we'll be ready mid-August. I hope everyone has a speedy process!

awor, we've read somewhere (my husband did) that you can get a printout of Option C by walking directly into any Canada Revenue office in the town you (your husband) live (s). So assuming you can get your Option C printout this way, you can still probably make it to file this month.

Give it a try, ask your husband to call or go to a Canada Revenue (CRA) outlet or whatever is called.

Good luck!

No you can not get option c print from local CRA office.... thats what they told me when I contacted them.. the only way to get it is give them a call and they ll mail you free of cost...

Is that so? I've found this earlier post (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t75180.0.html) where someone said they were able to walk into the Canada Revenue office and get one personally.

Can someone please confirm whether that's even possible?

I don't know the answer to that. All I know is we called to ask for the Option C printout, and it came in the mail in less than a week.

Cool.

awor, from what i've read many posters have said, you can get your Option C printout in a short time. If, like kuku said earlier, you cannot get your printout directly by going to a CRA office, then your husband can request a new one by phone and that should bypass the current postal backlog. Worst case scenario, you can include a letter with your application stating that you will be filing your Option C on request or as soon as you receive it. Many other posters around this forum have mentioned they've done that without any problem and have been approved.

anyways, I hope this helps to convince you that you're still on time to make it for the July pile!

good luck.

Thanks guys :) He lives way too far out in the middle of nowhere and works way too much to get into a city that has an office, even if they did offer them in person... which is another problem with getting the Option C...still waiting for the one they said they would sent when the strike was over, and to call and request a new one requires him to get a random day off during the work week (he works upwards of 80 hours a week...sometimes more) to be able to call - I can't call for him even though I'm his wife, I tried that.

Assuming I get it by the 18th, mail it to him on the 19th, he gets it around the 25th (overnight isn't possible where he's at, it's a week no matter what route I send it), and assuming his Option C is there, he spends a few days getting his stuff together and finds the time to send it....looking at the 1st of August anyway, and being where he is, Canada Post (only shipping available) can't do overnight, it'd be at least the 3rd or 4th...that's IF I get the background check on the 18th... not really hopeful.

Now that I typed that all out, let the universe prove me wrong! ;)

Thanks AndreUK, I thought it was, just needed clarification, I think everyone who gets to this stage suddenly has a panic attack and wonderes if they have everything, sent it to the right place, paid all the fees...cant wait for this to begin and the countdaown start. Good luck with your application. Fingers crossed i will be joining the Julyties soon just waiting for some docs to get to my hubby back in canada, then it will be sent. woot! :P

Aneyshar, i will let you know when we post it, it should be by the end of this week. Just waiting for some things to reach my hubby back in Canada. Everything else is ready and in the Parcel waiting to be sealed and paid for a delivered. Exciting now! ;D

ok Mandy, will be on standby.

awor, sounds like an uphill road for you. Let's keep our options open though. Did you consider the idea of writing a statement letter indicating you will submit the Option C printout as soon as you have it? that apparently should work according to some other posters. Good luck and keep us posted please.

Heylo everyone! :) Yes my husband did manage to get the Option C personally, but then they considered our case where we were ready to send in our application but the Canada Post was still on strike with no solution forthcoming. I guess they were considerate enough in such a scenario, but now that the stirke is over, things might be different.

All the best to everyone! :)

Two questions:

1- Is anyone applying in July for immigration to Quebec?
2- At what point do you get your Client ID number?

thanks.

Hi July Guys

So what happens next? Should we be expecting sponsor approvals from the beginning-mid August? How do I check my application throught the immirgration website? Is it my payment recipet number or will I have a seperate reference attached to the approval letter?
