we have missed our first anniversary..... and it seems like we will have to start the marriage life all over again when we meet again...we stayed together for few months and then lambi judaai.... :)

my poor wife had a dream of celebrating the first anniversary in her own way..I still regret that I could not fulfill her wishes..

i understand bady.... its hurts.........

Right one year ago i met my wife on 13th Oct and i don't think so i can celebrate out 1st anniversary with my wife....

oye raba mere yar se milade........mere dil dar se milade.....

thats fine shamsia..

well my story is a bit different..I was basically working in USA and got married in India n then stayed there for few months waiting for the renewal of my visa, but nothing happened ..So returned to Canada in April and then started preparing for application..it was not preplanned...Had it been planned, we would have got PCC and other required stuff before I came back here... So all those things ate time and then CIC's most favorite option C took more time which in fact was my mistake as I never asked for it thinking that I would not need it as I did not work in Canada during the last year as I was working in the USA..but after reading different posts on this forum I realized that option c is necessary... my application was ready to be mailed out in early July but then I had to wait for option C due to which I ended up in August thread.. :)

Yeah the PCC takes time and stuff. In fact, putting together an application itself takes time. You want it to be as convincing as possible. We were supposed to be Maybies but ended up in June, that too the last day of June lol :D So I can understand what it must have been for you. But I have spent all of 21 days with my husband :(

thats bad.. 21 days !!! you do not even get to know each other well...( only if it was arranged marriage:) :D)..

Lol, yes it was an arranged one, but our father's are first cousins. So our families knew each other forever! And then our families happened to be in the same cities in Saudia Arabia. Played a lot as kids :P Then they went to Canada and we stayed back in Saudia :)

Really its shocking that some countries have 24 and 32 months for processing spousal visa. I cant understand this. I was with my wife for less than 2 months. I really hope and wish that I will be with her to celebrate our 1st wedding annivarsary. But unfortunately I wont be with her to celebrate her birhtday which happends to be in next month :(

I know, they say they want to reunite people as soon as they can, but take so long to do it, I cant understand it, I knew we would have to spend some time apart, but at the sake of our wedding anny, my birthday and the birth of our 2nd grandaughter, im beginning to wonder why we are even doing this now. been apart nearly 6 months and every day is getting worse. :'(

Mandy I can only imagine what you are going through... We have been together only for less than two months and yet feel that we have been together for couple of years. And your bond is for years. i guess its tougher for you than many of us. I can only pray and hope that CIC change their policy towards atleast spousal visa ASAP.

There are good days and bad days...I have been apart from my wife for almost 3 months now, I will see her at the end of next month. Although we have been together in a LDR relationship with many trips together for 2 years now, but since we got married, it now seems harder and this CIC process seems cruel and really unfair . Today, she almost cried on the phone from being apart, and she is not a crier at all. It is difficult for me too. The cliché is that love will conquer all, but nobody said it was going to easy! Just ranting here.

Sorry to hear all the woe's. Yes it is important to develope the relationship and more so in the first year. I am fortunate... I am celebrating our 5th month of marraige with her today and will continue to celebrate them with her until she is permitted to land. Keep your chins up. The true McCoy will survive all obstacles

.87 Days and counting
