Thing is I dont think we can go by the date anyone elses application got to CIC-M, as each sponser approval is going to be different to the next one, I would have thought someone with a job and proof that they can support their other half would be sorted alot quicker than someone that wasnt working and hadn't for a while say and had more difficulty in proving their capabilities to sponser. I could be completly off the mark I dont know, but maybe there is something in it

dont know how they work... but in just 2 months they have increased the processing time by 50%.. this figure is still growing.. and if they return my file because of any mistake probably i will have to wait for another 5 months to get approval... im so tensed now.

IF they return you application for beacuse of something, they dont put you to the bottom of the pile when you send it back, dont stress to much it will make the wait feel even longer, I was hoping to be with my hubby for our wedding anniversary in 3 weeks 4 days, but not gonna happen, have to hang on in there

nah, i said in 2 months they have increased the processing time by 50%. in mid july the time was 42 days. now 63 days. so they have increased 63-42=21 days. so its 50% of 42 days (21/42=0.5, in percentage its 50%) . now clear????

When you say increase by then answer should be 100% because original time was approx. 30 days and You would multiply 30 by the decimal value of 100% (1.00 times 30 is 30). so you are increasing the amount by 30. therefore total will be doubled. 60 days.

no if ur file is returned u will be given a file # and name to send file back to so u wont have to wait

thanks, but its very annoying not to know how they work... still few mates from early july havent heard anything and its already mid of the month. dont know whether they work on files serially or they just pick randomly. we dont want to get trapped in waiting game, hell no

My guess is they get a pile and divide that up amongst different officers, who work at different paces.
