Well well.. I've considered the operation and such, but I love my wife too much!
Oh, we were talking about the fictional character of course. :o)

Cool Aneyshar, it's just that I had a look at the spreadsheet today and there were 4 people due to have been approved by now. I was just curious. I know they are estimates only though. Hopefully you and I will get ours next week!

Andre, none from this forum at least! But a couple of our fellow Julians are due anytime soon. I wonder if JenB is around I would ask her to call to find out ;D

Mandy, could Dr. Jekyll be a lady though? ;)

According to CIC website eCas updates every Tuesday so maybe you can check later this evening

FWIW eCAS is updated on every day of the week.

yes Andre, even if they're only estimates I'm positive that ours will happen pretty soon! But like I said in previous post, due to CIC notifying by normal post (mostly) we'll probably not find out until a week or two later :( That's why I suggest if any of you are in Canada and can call the help desk, by all means do so!!

Magpie, yes, ecas gets updated on Tuesdays (mostly), but I wouldn't rely on it too much :P

Well I tried calling and got the usual response... we're too busy for you, try again later! :P

JenB, wow, did they actually say those words? LOL :o

Oh well, if you just keep on trying you might get through, otherwise wait for the email... or the snail mail (sucks) :P

Have you tried e-cas? even if it's a waste of time haha

Well those are the words I heard anyway! lmao

I tink e-cas is trying to tell me the same thing! I guess I should just learn to be patient but work is just so slow...

60 days to approve???? seriously they need efficient ppl

they received my application on 20th July... that means they might start working on my file after 20 weeks from now?????
because for them its 7 calendar days= 1 CIC day

LOL suva, that's too pesimistic, but sadly kind of true. :-[

Anyways, like I said in earlier posts I mentally programmed myself (if you can say that..) to allow two full months from the time they received the package till I start getting anxious about not hearing from them :D

Come September 12 I will be more nervous if I don't get any news. For now, patience, patience, patience....

Hallo to everyone !!!

60 days and there is a long weekend coming up (labour day)...So that means our Government workers are off from Friday until Tuesday
