Hello Dreamer! maybe some forum will help you about that but I also have some inputs for you....(if this will help)
I also applied as a FSW, submitted my application May 2010 and got the eligibility October 2010. I only did it by myself, did not need any consultant or agent to help me fill up the application. Everything is pretty much written in the guide (instructions). I did not continue applying for it since my husband (Canadian) wanted me to apply in Family class instead. Goodluck for your application!

THNXXXX for ur reply and i will definitely look into the link u forwarded me ...thnxx once again and all the best wid ur application too ...

Hi Dreamer! The forum you're in right now is the forum for people applying for Permanent Residency in the Family Class. We're not really familiar with the process or paperwork for the Skilled Workers category. However, there is a forum for that category. If you go here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/skilled-worker-professional-immigration-b4.0/ there should be people who know how to help you.

Good luck with your application!

Hello December board...

I just wanted to wish you all good luck. We send out application to CPC-M on November 25th, but it didn't arrive until December 1st (we are applying from the UK)...so I feel like I belong to both November and December boards. Anyway, I look forward to hearing all your news, which I suspect will be sometime after Christmas.

I'm sponsoring my husband who is English. We had all the papers ready to fill out for about a year, but only started seriously doing them in August. It is amazing how long it takes to get everything organised...and how many times you check the application over and over again to make sure you don't miss anything! I was so glad when it was finally sent off. It's all just a waiting game now....but as I am due to have my second child at the end of this month I'm finding that I'm not thinking (too much :D) about when we'll hear back, mostly just thinking when this baby is going to come and how unprepared we are :)...though I expect I'll start to think more about whether I'll be accepted as a sponsor as the end of the month gets closer (as it seems on previous boards that most people are getting their letters around a month after their application was recieved.

Thank you quakingaspen for starting this forum ;D

Hello Whitehorse! Welcome to the December Forum. We'll count you as an honorary member. :)

Congratulations on the upcoming baby, and on getting your paperwork in. That's a lot of stress all at the same time, but at least now you're in "waiting" mode on the application. I'm sure that it will be good news for you and your family.

Keep us updated on how things progress!

Hi Everyone,

I am waiting for my option-C document to post sponsorship case of my Dependant child (one and a half year of age). My family is back home in Pakistan and cant join me until we get PR for our kid born outside Canada(my wife and other kids are valid PR holder). I have come alone to apply the sponsorship, landed this week and will send my application next week. I hope I am relevant to this thread though in my case its a Dependant Child, still Dec-2010 applicant! My understanding was that this is not possible from outland. Looking forward for your comments.

Thanks for starting and maintaining this thread.

Hello Asif! Congratulations on getting your paperwork in! Of course you're relevant to this thread. You're waiting for notification about your family, and so are the rest of us. I hope the process goes quickly for you so your family can be reunited.

Please keep us updated on your progress!

Let the waiting begin....

Hello !

I am plannind to send my application soon. I am just a little confused....In the form IMM1344EA, on page 4, under eligibility assessment, question 3 asks "Are you sponsoring a member of the family class or a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada Class?"
I believe the answer for this is NO ?

Plz help !

The answer should be "yes"
I assume your are sponsoring your spouse outland. And thats part of the family class outland.

The important word is "OR" in this sentence.

On the top of the page it also says:
"If you answer "NO" to any questions 1 to 4, you are not eligible to be a sponsor (or co-signer, if applicable). You should NOT submit your application."
If you would answer NO you would not have to send the application....

hope I did not confuse you.

Oh you are right !

Thank you.

One quick question, if I do not have a co-signer, do I still need to include the Statuatory Declaration even if it is all filled with "N/A". My basic question is whether we attach the forms that do not apply to us and just fill them as N/A or do we not include them in our file at all ?

Thanks.

@ Sparkle - Hello! I didn't include the forms that didn't apply to us. I just included the document checklist with "N/A" marked next to the forms that didn't apply. Not sure how other people handled that question.

I hope you get your forms in soon!

@ chrimano - Congrats! You're the first one to hear back about the delivery. :) I keep watching for mine to pop up.

I did not include this documents either.

The important word here is "IF" and if you do not have a co-signer I think it is good enough not to include the forms.

"Original of completed Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM 5409), IF you have a co-signer and he or she is your common-law partner"

Thats what I thought so !!

Thank you so much guys...I am getting everything ready to send it by next monday hopefully.
I am trying to get a few reference letters from friends/family for more proof of relationship...

@quakingaspen - did you use FedEx?
