ya i will call them on monday, but looking at the processing time on the website and the time-line i sent it seems to be normal,
so yaa thanks for ur help guysss appreciate the great response!!!,

Can you tell me how you are checking status of application in process? Does the application status comes on ECAS website as soon as it is received by them? If yes then how can i query it? I just have receipt number for online payment i did. Can i use that?

It will show up on ECAS, when they start to process it, not when its received. Yes, you can check it with the receipt nr. and the name and bday and country has to be sponsors ones!!!!

Great to see a few more people with letters and even an 'in process'!

Computer - hope you can sort everything soon and that you get your application through ok for 1 April. Best of luck, will send positive vibes your way.

PR99, i would think you should see something soon. Ours was received 8 Jan and we found out last week that I was approved to sponsor and our application was forwarded to our visa office. Hope you found out soon, keep us all posted on how you get on.

Copy and Paste the following link into ur browser and hit enter. U can add to favorite folder so that u don't have to type everyday. U will see CIC E-CAS ( Citizenship and Immigration Canada Electronic-Client Application Status) screen and select Receipt No. and enter all the required information for the SPONSOR person. E-CAS will appear when they will start processing ur application. But u can check everyday and this does't cost u anything. Thanks

My ECAS status now shows "In Process" for the sponsorship application. Here is what it says:

"We started processing xxx's application on February 10, 2010. "

Our visa office is New Delhi. Now the real waiting game starts ...

I haven't heard anything yet. And my E-Cas thing just still has my name, with nothing else (no "in process," no status of any sort, just my name.) Hmmm.

I hope they aren't sending back my application: My doctor TOTALLY gave me the wrong form to return with my application, insisting it was correct -- and while I phoned the hotline to ask that a note be made in my case, letting them know I do indeed have the correct form now.... well.... I wouldn't be surprised if my whole application is returned. Booooo.

i am just so sad because i waited for so long...........anyways i feel so good too cause i don't have to wait any more

Don't worry Aisha,
just include the information and re-send it in, it's better than getting it rejected all together so don't worry.

me and my husband are still waiting... no response as of yet for us...

The same thing happened to us. Well, not about children, but we didn't answer some questions in the 'additional family info' section because we didn't think it applied to us. Anyway, we submitted the app again with everything they needed, and were approved just a few days after they received it. So don't worry, just send it ASAP and you'll probably be fine!

everything will be fine! don't be sad. just add whatever you missed and send it back asap :)
