iam kinda worried that they return my application couse my husband send two photos of me only we didn't know that they need 8 for cairo cases .......i am confused wether i send them the rest now or just wait

u guys think that they might return whole application or they will just ask for the rest ............i am so worried now

Hey Umm Aish
Send the rest of photographs immidiately by courier as i think ur application is not being processed yet. U recently sent ur application right. While sending photographs make sure to put ur name, date of birth and ur husband's resident card or fee receipt number on a brief letter. They will accept.

I would also suggest to send the photographs as soon as possible. The only thing that you could loose (in case they send back the app even after sending the photos) are the photos only and some money that you'd spend in the postage. Your's is still a little early as they wouldn't have processed your appliation as of now but will do so in the next 10 days or so. Be prepared to re-send the photos again, in case they return the application before your photos reach them. Hope that helps.

hey everybody. I went to ecas every day to check if something has gone up. And yesterday magically there was a entry!!!.. It said Decision made! I know its only the first stage,...and I don´t even know what the letter said...but im super excited to see some progress !!!.
One question. We put into our application mailing address (we put down my husbands mums)., but at the ecas, there are 2 addresses, that we also use (work and home). So I´m wondering what address will it go to?. And as I went to visit my family in Estonia, and my husband left Canada, to go to LA, then we will not know until he comes back in 2 weeks. I don´t want no-one else to open it, I want my husband to read it ....But i really wanna know what did they say in the letter... So is there no possibility to find out in e-cas about the decision?

They received our application on January 12, 2010.

They started processing our application on January 28, 2010.

In E-CAS there are two address showing: One on left side showing ur home address/Permanent address and one on right side ur mailing address. Whatever address showing on right side in E-CAS under mailing address, the letter will go to that address. Best way is if u allow someone to open and read and let u know about the decision or scan and send to ur email address so that u can read for ur satisfaction anywhere sitting in the world, that u don't want. U can call CIC-Mississauga at 1-888-242-2100 and ask them if they can provide u with decision details as u can say u r out of country at the moment. Other fast way is to ask the person who will receive letter at this time is to Re-MAIL letter immidiately by courier to ur temporary vocation address. Last way is to wait wait wait untill u get to ur current address. Bye and good luck for u.

Here are my application status in signature line below. Its showing still IN-PROCESS since CIC started processing on Jan.22, 2010 and i did not get any letter. Can anybody tell me how long they will take and what can be the possible reason. What are they doing during this time. Can they take more than the processing time of 36 days posted on CIC website? Thanks

Just checked e-cas at work (naughty, I know...)
Decision Made!!!!!!!!!

So relieved - I think I had convinced myself that they had lost our application!

So it says they received our application 8 January, started processing 29 January and decision made, letter sent 29 January.

It's all happening now!!

Now we just wait for our letter and hope our paperwork makes it safely to London!

Fingers crossed everyone's applications go through quick, as well.

Congrats cowtown gal, how exciting!!!! Looking forward to hearing everyone's responses on their letters!!!!!! I have been checking ecas everyday, which is silly because they only received it a week ago!

The exact wording of what e-Cas says depends largely on the clerk who fills it out. Much of the time, information is omitted, so just because it doesn't say that it has been forwarded, I would definitely not freak out.
