YES!!!! I checked the website today and a decision has been made. They have sent a letter in the mail. Hope it's good news! Below is what the website shows.

They were asking for some receipt number and i entered the receipt number from when we paid the fees, is that correct? We sent our application April 14 and so far no mail yet. thank you for your help.

Are you using the receipt number that you received after you made the payment "Online" if yes..then in simply means that your application is yet to be processed...if "No" then you will not be able to use ecas until you have a valid client ID or file number..

My app was received on April 19...still nothing yet. Like all those that haven't heard yet, I am getting impatient. When using the Ecass system, and using the receipt, I use my last name, or my wife (Sponsor, or applicant).

Brilliant! Got Decision Made on ecas website after I used my sponsor's name. Hopefully the decision is good! ;D

BTW they have my middle name spelled incorrectly. Should I inform them of this?

Yes. You should inform the embassy if there are any changes in your names, address etc.

We received a letter in the mail today dated May 17, 2010. I have been approved as a sponsor and our application is being forwarded to the case processing centre in Buffalo!!!

Finally got an email and i am now able to access our Ecas! It just says that they have sent us a letter in the mail last May 19 and that decision was made.... hopefully good! They received our application April 15, decision made May 19. Those who sent around this time should be getting a reply on your application! Good luck

Yesterday, my E-CAS for Permanent Residence became "In-Progress" in New Delhi. It reads
We started processing xxxxx xxxxxx application on May 21, 2010.

Nothing else is written but at least I know that they are now looking at it!

I am assuming they sent a letter to my husband confirming this.
It seems like lately New Delhi has been requesting the passport once the application is in progress so with fingers crossed, I am also hoping they will request his passport.
