thanks a lot, can u tell me how much is landing fee, n how can i pay it, i mean wats the procedure to pay it? n where should i pay it in india or canada?

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is $490 (Canadian dollars) and I paid from India through online using my spouse credit card and the link is http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

Once you pay the fees, take the print out of the receipt. Kind note your printer should be ready to take the printout.

More over if you want the fee to be paid at any Canadian bank than you have to order Fees Receipt (IMM 5401) through phone @ 1-888-242-2100 and your spouse will receive the IMM 5401 via post within two weeks and than she has to fill the form and pay in the bank.

hey i need ur help..
we paid our fee after we got ppr...nd along with my passport i sent dm scanned copy of receipt of landing fee and pcc (they asked 4r pcc)
bt my hubby or me never got any acknowledgement from Mississauga that they have received our free or something like dat..now what should we do..is it normal that they dont send u acknowledgement.. or we should call them..

CPC-M acknowledge the fee paid via post to the individual and it intimates to CHC ND via email.

My spouse contacted and requested them that PR fee has not been confirmed yet to CHC ND, where as it has been paid two months back and they checked the data base and said ya we got PR fee confirmed and immediately we will be confirming CHC ND and later my spouse received acknowledgment within a week time.

I attached the landing fee letter and receipt while forwarding my PP to CHC ND.

We started processing null Shalini's application on August 31, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on null Shalini's application. The office will contact null Shalini concerning this decision.

Your hubby will receive letter from CPC-M.

My spouse received the letter and it states like.....Dear Ms Borntowin

This refers to the application to sponsor a family member of the family class you submitted to this office on behalf of MR Borntowin.

We are pleased to confirm receipt of the RPRF for your relative. The visa office has been notified that the applicable fees have now been paid. etc

Thanks.They said they sent a letter in march 31st for additional documents but we never got that letter and kept waiting till June. Till till june they didnt reply for our CSE or fax. Then they resent the letter and after sending the requested documents they approved us after a month.

Thanks for sharing. From experiences like yours, one very important message we need to convey to lads and ladies that apply now onwards is that we got to keep sending them case specific enquiry, fax and any and every thing it takes.
