hey guys as u know i got an interview on 6th so i was preparing for it but i feel uncomfortable to get a good answer for following questions. it wud b helpfull for me n for any1else who have or will have interview in future n wud b really appreciated if u can help me with following questions:

Tell me why this marriage or relationship is genuine?
What makes your relationship with your spouse different from that of a female/male friend?
If I refuse this application what will you do?

Hello, I have answered to your questions, hope this will help u out !

1.Tell me why this marriage or relationship is genuine?

A marriage certificate does not prove your relationship is genuine to VO but when it comes to prove your relationship you have to prove with your mandatory documents i.e Joint bank accounts, Life insurance policies that one of you is the beneficiary of the other, Any other document that could prove your financial or emotional dependency to each other ...etc (This is what now a days VOs are expecting) If your relationship is genuine and you know your partner well enough so there is nothing to panic. But there could also be something more specific in your case too. Every1 case is different depending on the circumstances.

2.What makes your relationship with your spouse different from that of a female/male friend?

Yes my souse is totally different than my m/f friend, she is loving, caring and understanding and whom I can rely through out my life and I never met a person like before, so only we have married and disparately waiting to start our future @ Canada and more over no friend m/f friend can take my spouse place.

3.If I refuse this application what will you do?

I will re-appeal the case with all the supporting documents to prove our relationship is genuine and legitimate and I trust the Canadian laws and by this interview my case wont be refused.

Hello Buddy,

Same thing happened with me previous month, So nothing to worry its just technical error and when I checked the next day its back to normal, more over it showed me two processing date i.e 22 Jun and other 15 July (Permanent Residence Application Status).

And in regard of passport just sent case specific inquiry, email and fax with the dispatch details, hope your spouse having the courier receipt, some times passport may be filed wrongly in other file or it may be overlooked by the VO and this can cause little bit delay in processing your file, so just sent fax immediately quoting the recent letter and proof of delivery. This will fasten up your case file.

Thanks for the reply, buddy. But, the status still appears the same. And, my wife has already sent ND a follow up letter and an email, but, no reply by ND. I dunno if they will ever reply. This is so exasperating.

In process medical has been received.
we started processing on june 23rd,
actually this is for my wife.
iam in toronto past 8 years,just waiting for her PPR.

i call them now they give me different fax number the one u give me...
they give me 41782031, n said this 1 is for immigration section.

my cousin brother got his visa today......his passport was requested on july 4th.. he subimitted his passport on 22nd july got his visa today stamped 22nd aug ..ecas changed from in process to decision made .....but his was under skilled worker...
wht is takin so long for me .....

AOR received - 28 march
File transferred - 5 April
In process - 2 may
Passport req - 22 july ( by phone call )
Passport received - 23 july
Decision made- 28 aug..

hi vicky............as u got ppr late, would u plz tell me wt u did when u didn't get ppr? bcoz my file reached delhi on 15 june almost 2.5 months just get one update on 20aug dat delhi office start processing on my file on 17aug n medical received but not ppr yet................suggest me wt should i do?

yes... i got ppr late.. i went to ND on 30 june regarding no ppr.. they told me that they not received my medical and told me to submit my doctor detail by email... and next day i sent cse and email in which i mention doctor detail and my medical slip... after 20 days i got phone call to submit my passport...
i only suggest u to go ND as early u can...

Hi All,

I had received a duplicate Passport request letter so I had emailed ND about it a month ago. And finally below is the response I got from them today.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

We acknowledge that our office has received 1 original passport for this application.

Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process passports and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team, where it may take several more days for a final review to take place to ensure all requirements have met for visa issuance.

This file is currently pending final review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as the review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants in case any further documentation or information is required. If the officer is satisfied all requirements have been met, visas will be issued, following which we will return the passports to the applicant by registered mail. Kindly note that it can take several days for registered mail to reach its destination.

Please be advised that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized and the passports returned. Your continued patience is appreciated. We can assure you that we give the highest processing priority to cases which are ready for visa issuance for which passports have been submitted. Until we contact the applicant, either to request additional documents or information or to return the passports, we will not be able to respond to further enquiries.

The email says that the file is "pending final review". How long do you guys think it takes before a Decison is made?
