yes my old pp number is mentioned in new passport, so please suggest if there is any kind of refusal if may happen due to previous visa refusal. my current application is 101% genuine as spouse marriage

As old PP reference is mentioned in your new PP, So just relax regarding the DOB variation & there is nothing to worry in this regards.

Don't worry think positive buddy, I said before refusal of any PR applications they will conduct interview.

If you provided all of the mandatory documents and proved that your marriage is genuine, so no one can reject your PR application. Have your spouse changed her surname in SIN,Revenue Agency, Driving license, Insurance records, Bank....etc !

So just hope and trust the best.

sam i know its long time ur also waiting frm but have u noticed 1 thing nd is v slow frm last 3 weeks there is no visa issued i m also in shoe but we shud worried only if they r issuing visas n only thing we can do now is personal visit to nd............

I was also thinkin of sendin them a CSE but my case is still within 6 months of normal processing time.. so i was skeptical if they would reply back.

Btwn, I ve a representative in Toronto.. does he need to email on my behalf or can I do it on my own quoting the file no and the UCI no??

u can send them CSE or fax
dont rely on ecas because its not always accurate
however, if CHC had not received your medicals then they would have asked u for the same by sending u a letter

my additional docs were asked on 8 th june and delivered by 20th June and my status still shows In process and
deadline was 7th August 2011.

im in the same boat as you.. passport sent July 11th, so far no response. I hve a lawyer in Toronto as well. I sent them a request on July 2nd, asking them where my pp-request was. They replied today (Aug 1) saying i have a lawyer so they cannot answer me directly.

It takes them a month to reply, and all they do is send some generic crap!

The reason I am really worried is coz some time back a member of this forum said that she gt her meds done in Toronto while on tourist visa but ND was nva able to locate her meds as they thot they wld come from India.. Its almost been 2 and a half months since ND has my file.. I ve nt rcvd any req for meds thou.. but I am hoping they are not repeating the same thing again.. And, ND is really slow ths days coz of student visas I guess.. I ll contact my rep tomm and hope he would be able to help..

anyways, wen did u file ur app?? and when did u receive PPR??

wen did u email them??

And I read ur previous posts.. I dont think any PR application could be rejected on the basis of previous Visit and student visa refusals.. They mainly focus on gauging the genuineness of a relationship which I am pretty sure urs is..

i also sent them email and fax to confirm whether they have received my pp as well as to update address but they did not reply

I must say, CIC NEW DELHI does a remarkable job in processing these applications.

They should teach the slower offices how they achieve their efficiencies.

I almost wish I married a girl from India now!

omg!!! three emails and still no reply!!! ND sucks!!! wat r we supposed to do then if we need to confirm smthin??? You shd ask ur lawyer or rep to email them.. They might be ableto get a reply..

i emailed them on June 11 , June 24 asking to confirm whether they received my pp and around mid of july 3rd email

6 months does nt seem to be a long time.. but when one is away from their better half, it also seems like 6 yrs!!! I ve been away frm my husband just for a month and missin him terribly.. wish i had applied inland!!!

I dont really knw why CIC has diff processing times for diff countries.. I read smwhr its 2 yrs for applicants from pakistan.. I can very well imagine hw tuff it must be for u and other applicants applying from that VO.. Wish u luck and speedy processing..

Does CHC point out such things also, like y the app was filed thru a lawyer?? Its just that lawyers knw more abt the process thats y they are hired.. And I doubt anyone sponsoring frm Canada would not be an educated person...We filed our app thru an immigration consultant in Canada who is well authorised to do so.. Were we wrong in doin so???

we did not apply through any representative and we filled applications ourself
we did not do that because CHC will say why u needed a lawyer to fill applications if you are so much well qualified.
thus we did not fill through lawyer

omg i nva knew abt this.. This is freakin me out even more.. I did my BDS from India and Masters in Epidemiology from the US.. Nw eyeing DDS in the US..We applied thru a consultant as he is my father in law's friend.. I have some travel history so I assumed my case might take a lil longer..and was nt sure whrI shd apply from.. inland or outland..so thot of consulting him..

I hope everythin goes well for each one of us on this forum.. Keepin my fingers crossed..

yes they do. i am not saying that its about educated person but it means that if person is highly qualified then he does not require a lawyer(in my case I have done masters in computer engineering)
there is a difference between educated and highly qualified.
in my case they will surely say that as being so well qualified why did u need to apply through lawyer?
