The only reason i am very skeptical abt the In-Process status is this.
When you have a In-Process before a PPR, it is basic BS with this dumb a$$ office
I had inprocess from Feb 15th and in March i learn that my file is still in Ottawa ! How fu$ed up is that?

Don trust the In-Process if you do not have a file #..... i went through this and i don wan anyone to go through this again hoping they are doing something.
Dumb a$$ consulate.

3. File transfer (New delhi recieved application): 29th April
4. PPR generated: 12th May
5. PPR recieved: 18th may
6. Ecas InProcess (with medical results have been recieved): 6th June
7. Decision Made: 20th June

DNT, sorry very busy at work.
They did the same thing to me, medicals received is just a system update and YES IT IS TIME FOR MP.

I see through the thread that you got a raw deal along with few others. However my nick name was not to offend anyone. FYI- among all my friends, i was the 12th one to apply for sponsorship in last two year and only 3 of us took more than 3 months. So I could see where you are coming from.

She is on the way or probably at Chennai Airport now..flight leaves at 1 am...
Lands tomorrow at 12ish..Jet is 30 minutes earlier than schedule for the last 2 weeks in YYZ.

I have already booked my tickets in Air India. I hope they don't go for another strike.
I am starting on 8th July and coming back on 24th.

For us, it showed In Process before we received the ppr also... but actually the PPR had been mailed out ( prior to the date) ecas updated to In Process it was just that he never received it thanks to IPS. So DNT, for all we can guess a PPR is on its way. But like others said, do contact your MP to be on the safer side.

Yeah I remember this has happened to one more person, I know I remember how it happened for you, and the PPR was in the mail, but delayed by IPS.. and I'm hoping they've sent my PPR and is just with the IPS.. and is gonna be here by this week... I've already contacted MP just some time ago.. I hope they get bak to me very positively

Thanks and glad something has happened, and I'm positive, they;ve just sent a letter asking to submit ppt.. and I hope to break this news when we are on the Page #700, and yes if that's the case I will definately say we'll be in the same flight.. and I'll ask the Air attendant to make an annoucment and ask FebPR to come to the pit area

PPR in the email would be amazing.... or even a phone call... but I get a feeling the letter is on the way with IPS

I am so happy happy for you man. I told you that you will get PPR before we reach page # 700 and but at least something happened. I think you are right, they will be finalizing all Feb applicants now as the student visas are over.

Expect something from CHC-New Delhi this week - may be a PPR in the e-mail, may be a call to you wife to submit the PP.

It looks like we will be in the same flight

I was thinking about it the other day.. but since the In Process has taken place, so maybe wait just few days before I do the CAIPS, that way the systems are all updated throughout the whole world, it is possible the system may not be LIVE.

Yeah she is in the village, where mail comes after every 7 days... so next batch is on Friday / Saturday

DNT since i was in your same scenario i don think CAIPS wont be of any use for you...as i know u and know that ur case is a very straight forward one with lots of evidence.
Our MP will get you the answer you are looking for within 10 days and all will be good then..i still think you will get a PPR in email like me.

Once you get the file # your process will be completed within a matter of weeks, that's the positive sign of getting a unusual delay like you have right now..
I had the same delay until May 6...they emailed and asked her PP and they sent it back with Visa on May 28.

Wait until you get a solid reply before you order CAIPS, is what i suggest...as Pulling CAIPS will furthur delay your processing time which you really don need right now.
