I had the same steps as you, until they give you a file # i would not believe that they have your physical file.
Or a PPR with a file #.

Hey Dude,
I am so happy happy for you man. I told you that you will get PPR before we reach page # 700 and but at least something happened. I think you are right, they will be finalizing all Feb applicants now as the student visas are over.

Expect something from CHC-New Delhi this week - may be a PPR in the e-mail, may be a call to you wife to submit the PP.

It looks like we will be in the same flight

My wife's old passports reached New Delhi this Saturday. Will she need the old passports at the time of landing?

Not during landing but she might need all passports before EXITing India.
Always carry your OLD passport.

I bet the feeling he is going through right now is like this feeling we have in the stomach.. I'm not sure what to say.. but HE MUST BE HATING TO WAIT specially when he knows its less than 24 hours.... (or maybe he is cleaning up the EVIDANCE)...

I know when my husband exited India he DID NOT have to show his old passports... but if you do have them with you it's a good idea to carry them with you. Of course I'm not even sure if its a rule you have to have them.. as things vary from city to city and mainly the person you're dealing with at the airport ( India).

@DNT: Finally something is happeneing!!!! God def listened to ur prayers!!!! Provided they still hvn't sent ur PPT, I would also think it's better to get in touch with the MP's office, just to be on the safer side. They should be able to get an answer from ND as to what's going on with ur application. You can prob mention that they hanvn't responded to ur CSE, and may be not tell them abt the 'In process' update and just ask them to find out what's happening!
