If its the not going on a honeymoon part that you're worried about.. its not a big deal at all. We never went on one either.. but we did submit photos of places that we went to after the wedding (just not an actual get away). There were no issues with the file process.
But that's the thing, we don't have additional photos of us together after marriage. i'm really scared.

Ok, i'll send in my additional phone bills. If my husband does get called for an interview, i'll ask him to bring photos of us attending the wedding after our marriage and the invitation card. Anything else i should add in?

I wouldn't be scared but I would be prepared for an interview. I had known my husband for a year prior to our marriage but left soon after the marriage (about 5 days because I had to come back for school). I did divorce before but it was to a fellow canadian when I was super young.

My husband was called for an interview, it had nothing to do with the divorce, they didnèt even bring it up. They asked him more about me (I think to see how much he knew me and about my life). The whole itnerview was about 10 minutes. But I feel that it really was called beacuse how we meant, and the amount of time I actually spent with him after the marriage.

I was stressed about the interview, but I really shouldn't have. I just prepared for it and practice questions and got my husband ready and gave him tips about how to answer and how to look and feel confident.

Oh one other thing to add, send everything and anything you can to document your relationship. I think in the initial app I didn,t send enough either. But by the time we were called for interview, we had tons of pictures, phots albums, videos. All phone bills from whole relationship up to the point of the interview, screen shots of facebook & skype and ooVoo chats for all months leading up to wedding and after. I brought all the cards I sent to him and his family... I didn't send anything after the initial application, I just brought this with us. I attended the interview with my husband as well because I thought it made for a stronger case. I wasn't interviewed but the officer made it clear to my husband that she was glad to hear I was there.

I'm not sure if I can go for the interview if my husband gets called for it because i just got a new job and it was really hard to get this position. can i ask you, what kind of questions did the officer ask your husband?

Thought this may be helpful as a repost.

Hey Delhi peoples...

So interview is over, and my husband was told he would receive his visa by mail in about 10 to 15 days. YAY!!!!! He asked for it right away as I am leaving on the 1st but they said they can't give it to us on the spot.

So the interview went like this:

You get to the embassy and you check in, it can't be more than 30 minutes ahead of scheduled time. You need id. Once you check in, you go through security then you register at the reception and wait. We waited maybe 15 minutes, then they called my husband's name to go to a certain interview room. He went in alone.

It was a white canadian woman who interviewed him. She was friendly he says and asked him if he wanted his interview in English, French, Hindi or Punjabi. He thought this was a test (I dont speak anything but English or French), so he chose English She started right away and told him to ask her if he didnt understand. She then asked him if he understood her and he said yes.

She asked him only about 10 questions.

1) where we met
2) how we met
3) did we get married in his village
4) when did he come to India, back from Greece
5) is he still working n Greece
6) Where do I work
7) Where do I go to school
How many people were at our reception
9) Does he have additional proof with him (she didnt look at it though)
10) Where do I work (she repeated this question) I think it was because I work for the Canadian government so she wanted to make sure she understood him.

The whole interview was about 15 minutes max 20. She then told him she would be giving him the visa, it would come by mail She gave him all the pictures and phone cards back that we submitted and he was done. They didnt interview me at all, he did tell her I was there but I didn't get interviewed. And that was it, simple, painless.

Confused,

It's not manadatory to be there. I went because I could. You do need to be available by phone. It is not often but they do and can exercise the right to call the sponsor by phone at the same time your spouse is being interviewed. I know people who this happend.

Was just wondering if your wife went to Vijaya Diagnostic Center at HImayathnagar for the medicals cos i went for my medicals today and they mentioned that they dont usually get spousal medicals, mostly students and that the last medicals they had for spouse was 2 months ago ;D So is that your wife? Just me at my curious best ;D
