Your idea is wonderful, but I know it may not work that well, unless its INDIA, because if they would build a facility like this it should be for TRAVELLERS only, and as you know our airport here is open to everyone, so I'm sure it will attract attention of all the people of street! You can just imagine what I'm saying.. take a hint...

The reason why it would work in India is because all the people entering AIRPORT area have to have ID + TICKET to go inside.

I think I understand your currectly... You've had your interview on May 18, and still did not receive the passport back with VISA and its June 15 today.

This is very unusual, it seems like you've joined sonyji, it is time to take some action, how hard is it for you to get to ND?

Also I'm not sure if you shared the outcome of the interview or not, but please do ? Also from what I know it takes about 2 weeks on average for return of the passport after approval at interview.

Please share your time-line I'd like to add it to the table on the top on page # 671

When did ecas change to decision made? sometimes there is an update change but the pp is not dispatched until a later date.

it took 3 days for ecas to change to DM for us after the visa was stamped and then it was dispatched 6 days after it was stamped.. and finally reached on the 10th day.

btw, where r u located?

I don't know why they are taking time now. If they asked for a new passport (3 weeks after receiving the old passport) logically that means they want to stamp the visa because my status shows that they started processing my application on May 13th and why will they request for the new passport unless they want to give me the visa. We are wondering if they have not put my file at the back of some queue. We are thinking about sending a CSE next week so that maybe that will get our file out of the limbo,

By now i assume they would have made up their mind to issue a visa pending a BC.
I guess once you send the new PP they will do a small BC or they might not and after you send the PP and if they have already decided to issue a visa it can take 2-3 weeks.
So i suggest you wait at least 2-3 weeks before you send a CSE.
