her application details are as follows:

1) application to cpc m was filed on January 17/11
2) file was transferred to chc new delhi on feb 15/11
3) her ppr and additional docs request was received on feb 28/11
4) her pp and additional docs were received by chc nd on mar 14/11
5) chc nd started processing the file on apr 6/11
6) decision was made on apr 9/11

This was very fast. Only about 5-10% of the people get it this fast.
DM Apr 9 - Feb 15 = 53 days.

This was also in my prediction zone of Apr 6-May 16 for 60% of the people.
50-90 days of AOR/File Transfer.

My feeling anything less then 50 days is a miracle with this VO

I'd thought I would post this again since its already 40 pages back.

I took a sample of 34 people who started their application in early 2010 and are now finished
their application at New Delhi

11.7% of the people had to go for an interview.
29.4% of the people had to submit additional documents or go for an interview.

76.4% of the people had a passport request in 29 days from the date of sponsorship approval in Mississauga.
The rest were much longer like 40-80 days.

58.8% of the applications were done in 69 days from the date of sponsorship approval in Mississauga.
This group also included 30% of the people who had to submit additional documents or go to an interview.
Minimum 38 days to a maximum 91 days.

41.2% of the applications were done in 132 days from the date of sponsorship approval in Mississauga.
This group also included 70% of the people who had to submit additional documents or go to an interview.
Minimum 100 days to a maximum 279 days.

I was approved on Feb 22, 2011.

Passport Request should be on March 23, 2011. Actual: March 10, 2011
Visa with no complications should be on May 2, 2011.
Visa with complications should be on July 4, 2011.

I also got a typical right skew distribution that also agreed with some data on CIC website before they changed it.
Again this is from the date that your sponsor is approved in Missauga.

speedy passport request < 45 days - good news for 70% of these cases must be simple and be done in 69 days ~ 2 months
- for the rest 139 days ~ 4.5 month wait

long passport request > 45 days - bad news long wait - 148 days ~ 5 months

I just checked the automated phone service for cic...to see if it would give me more info then my ecas..it told me they sent it to the visa office new delhi april.4.....how long do you think it will take for myself to recieve a AOR? AND DO U RECIEVE THE AOR BEFORE THE PPR?
im really worried because I the sponsor am also put as my husbands representive so when they send the letter for PPR it can take a very long time for me to recieve it ..here in canada is it true

They may also just email you if you put your email down on the rep sheet. I was my husband's representative and I got e-mails from them, never any hard copy letters. They were attached in e-mails that old me each step.

It has certainly been an exciting week for many here...

ND is realy cranking things out now, wonder what got into them. I really hope they keep this pace up until the long weekend, as that will slow them down a bit, ppl and their extended long weekends, you know.

I am praying for all to at least get PPR soon and for those who have PPR, well of course I am praying for your visas

Almost done the weekend, lets hope Monday gets started right, especially for the man of the house FPrince.

update.....my sister's status now says "Decision Made" under PR status...... i checked Sunday Morning (Toronto Time) and e-cas status from "Application Received" to "Decision Made"

Hi,

We got a status update on ECAS. Status changed to Decision made on Sponsorship. They are saying that they started processing the letter on April 7th and sent us a letter regarding our application on April 7th. Hopefully the decision will be positive. Will we get more information about the decision by calling CIC number?

I am also a represnetative for my wife ................no they have not send me any letters or emails.... they ask for passport of your spouse so they send letter to your spouse not to you in canada..... if you have provided any emails they might send u email.. I have never received any email ...........


so u r good to go ..................nothing to worry ..............

ur hubby will get ppr sooonnnn..........

it was delivered in Bathinda on friday. But the visa was issued on 1st April.
