Yup its a long wait. My file is sitting there with ND for more than 5months now.. No addnal doc request or no interview call too. Well, ND oly knws whats happening to our files.

am i the only one who does not have a PPR yet? cos everyone who applied after me has had their PPR...
Something is wrong, i am really worried if they are treating my file differently than others :-(

dont worry fprince, ul def get it this week. I also hope the same for my visa every1 else from my timeframe have got their visas already n r in canada.

Hi all,
I recieved an email from ND written tht ( we have received your passport and the original police clearance certificates on 28-july-2010 and the file is awaiting initial review)

Can anyone tell me, What canadian high commission mean by Initial Review

My aplication recievd by canadian high commisson mississuga on May 13, 2010, and on June 17, 2010 they sent the letter at my wife home canada saying that my application had been forwarded to new delhi office, and on 8 july 2010 delhi office opened my application and start processing on it. Now I got a letter from Embassy, and on that letter they issue me a file no. and 3 main points are written as under
1. Submit the landing fee in mississuaga office if its not been submitted yet.
2. Police clearance certificate, if not been submitted yet.
3. Send your original passport for the further proceesing in your application.

So 1 & 2 points, already did when my wife applied the case in Mississuaga, Now I sent my passport to Canada Embassy New Delhi on 26 july 2010.


My passport came by post office mail and the visa issued date on it was 2-8-2010 and it was delivered on 6-8-2010. But still the eCAS status which I had checked today is "In Process".

You never know...May be our passports 'll come back with Visa next week...lol May be asking too much..but we never know..Hope for the best for everyone ;D..Regards..V

Thanks for the sharing the timeline from trackitt.com Ya my czn sister also told me that some of her relatives also got visa fast when they ask for passport so let's c but I am not expecting anything, else you will feel broken afterwards if that doesnt happen so just go with the flow.
