hmm yeah.. My husband took mixie, cooker etc when he left after marriage.. to reduce my weight lol. so I just gotta take other cooking utensils, dhals, rice wheat etc, masalas etc etc. whew, I do have lot to pack

hmm. Mikoo, did u get any reply from delhi? U sent case specific enquiry twice right? They are sending replies to every1 in 3days .. why they havent sent any reply to us alone?

Hi there,
I take Swiss every year and ticket is around $1500. They allow 2 bags of 23 Kg each and one carry on of 10 Kg.
I tried pretty much all airlines and This is my fav via Zurich (reminds me about DDLJ...lol)....just waiting for my file transfer! Should I call them today?...Regards

usually all airlines allow only 2 baggages of 23 kgs each, yeah swiss airlines is one of the class, How much was the ticket for one way from India to Canada ?

dont know sanyrog ???we both are really very much tensed now,,,,,i sent e-mail 2 times but still they didnt even feel like replying me,,,dont know whts happening,,,,anyway i m suppose to call chc on monday ,,,lets hope i will get proper reason of delay in issuance of visa,,,,u know even if we count fron 2nd sept,2010 the date of approval of sponsorship,,,,thn also its been 5 months ,,,whts wrong with thm i cant figure it out,,,,i m more surprised bcoz if they have some doubts then y dont they call us for Interview??if wish htey wud have called for ,,,,we wud have our visas in our hands,,,,atleast we wudnt need to sit and wait foolishly hoping today we will get visa or tomm :'( ???
one of my frend told me even if we use MP for inquiries they we just tell the reason,,,but they will work and issue visa as and whn they will feel it ???i fed up with this hopeless thing yaa :'(

I just checked E-CAS and it sayd "Decision made". I think it's good news. They used my old mailing address though. I changed it online but it sayd it'll take 15 days to change it. I guess I'll have to pick my letter up from my old address...Happy morning so far! Cheers..Regards

I am so frustrated and loosing hope, I think I am going back to India. Getting over with migrating to other country. Its not worth it, living without our spouse for so long and the sad part is we can't do anything about it.

yeah its so frustrating!!! why dont they reply to our enquiries??? u did CSQ right?? Btw, my husband said we can meet MPs only by next friday, as parliament session going on?? whats ur husband gonna do? Meet MP today?? also ur right. If they haev any doubts, they shud ve called us for interview.. they r not doing that also and sitting and keeping silent. Hate those officers, really!!

our case is appeal case, and I think ND only asks for PP when they are ready to stamp visa. But my file was transfered on 1st October 2010 and since then its been 4 moths and updated forms were sent on 15 December and still we are waiting for visa. Its been over year now.

I dont think so.. They ask for ppt as soon as they open the file. Then only they decide whether to call for interview or not or whether to ask for more docs. We have seen them asking for ppt 1st, and then calling for interview or asking for more docs for so many ppl in this thread right? Did u do any CSQ and find out why they r not asking for ppt? Do u knw the reason behind it? U can order CAIPS notes from MPs.

At this point nothing is making sense to me. What ever happened to the 2 to 3 month visa turn around that they were doing. What I dont understand is when I went to MP, ND told them interview is waived, and waiting for med results, now they have med results since jan 25, what the hell are they now waiting for. If they were waiting for med results, couldn't they complete the rest of the process? This is so long, going to be 6 months without being with my spouse. It is really hard, can't sleep at night any more. Since Sept 28-2010, they have my file, and only touched it mid December, when they asked for PPR. so 3 months collecting dust, and 1.5 months since they have PP. At this point i am very frustrated, and dont know what to do, i cannot play this waiting game anymore. :'( :'( :'( :'(
