haha guys i certainly dont see things the same way!!! Canada is where im frm. And Canada is rated much more higher than india in my book.
But i do think where ever u come frm it will always be "home" and you'll miss it!

I lived in india for 3 yrs and my husband and i had a very very comfortable life!!!! Lots of luxuries. =)
But i still hated india.

As a destination for tourism its lovely but not to live permanently!!! I had to add my 2 cents.

My husband feels the same too..he spent nearly all of his adult life in usa (usa is also rated higher thanindia in my book) and it was either canada or usa.

Now i look back and think we should have went to usa - wait to sponsor spouses frm canada is only 30 days. i do hate canada's immigration system!!!But not the country as a whole.

I put an inquiry thru MP no replies nothing...

Got a call from mom that she received some docs today at home...


Guess what its my passport with visa stamped.....

Its shock for me but i dnt knw what happened and how it happens i have my visa in my hands and i am ready to fly ASAp..

I am excited so is my wife....

hey missinghim.
no ours took about 5.5 months (we applied on aug 6, 2010).
i was already in canada. my husband was in india. yes, he arrived a few days ago! it's absolutely amazing to be together again
good luck to all others - i'm sure visas are on there way!

oh sorry i meant frm day embassy rec'd it. i also like the fact it was within the embassy's 6 mths time frame i dont like to see cases more than that. lol

Roy,l dont think we can meet any of the visa officers in person. They dont send AOR for ppt. For that matter, they dont send AOR for anything!

ohh.. why its taking them somuch time... we have submitted all the documents along with sponsorship application only and it has been a month now they have my passports.... how long is the second time medicals are valid???

Medicals is valid for 1yr. Yeah they have all our ppts for more than a month. They r even holding it for 4months for few ppl!! Noone can qn them!!!

(( delhi replied to u delhi is not replying to my lawyer. Whenever my lawyer sends enquiry, reply comes after 20days may be, they send the letter to their canadian office WHATS HAPPENING..
we have decided to go to MP next monday, if nothing happens till then
