good news to share!!my husband got ppr from new delhi today.
the date n a paper said Jan.10th.

it is hard to wait, but let each moment be happy because it is going to bring the couple togather!!

and i wish everyone be united with loved one soon!!

I checked it on December 17 and it said the letter has been sent on january 18 for approval.
Then i called them and they told me that file has been transfered on 18th Jan.
Check it online in 1st week of feb or call them in 1st week of feb.

Guys, the website is showing a week later info ,yes they do update every tuesday but always count 1 week forward than website. usually they transfer a file and AOR Post at the same day ( exact after 30 days they approved applications). hope ND have already reduce the amount of time.

Wondering why it took 13 days for ppr to reach,ND should use courier service to send all those important documents.

Hello OhOhOgirl, congrats!!!. Pls let me know if mail comes to home or you have to go to post office or collect it from CCO (Canadian Cooperation Office - Nepal) at Lazimpat. As I said previously my spouse is traveling to India so once I know what happen in your case , I can pass this info...

It seemslike ND likes to keep pp n not issue it right away!!!! WHY is that!!! Ive even seen ppl get PPR n still they ask for addiional docs n even interview after...crazy!

hi, how did figture out the file transfer date? i got AOR Letter was date jan 14. but nothing said the transfer file date to ND nor on site. they indicated just only the words that your file have been forwarded for further processing.any idea on that.

Good news:

Date of letter is the file transfer date!
Its like that for everyone.
To confirm, u can call the call centre in Mississauga! Thats what i did before my sponsorship approval letter arrived because i couldnt get on ecas & i wanted to know if i wasapproved or not cuz it was around the time i should be... They told me Jan4th on the phone, and when i got my approval letter it said jan 4th for date of letter. Its like that for everyone.

so why it takes time.......
My hasband sended me only a scan of the letter and I only see date says Jan.10th on the upper lines of the letter.

I am not sure the meaning of the date. But from the contex it said they recieved and created a file for our application. and ask for payment(if not paid), police cirtificate(if not submitted), and passport.


and he told me he got letter with regular post service(and he is in Nepal).
the letter was first sended to CCO (Canadian Cooperation Office - Nepal) at Lazipat then again they sended to our PO BOX. so he went to pick up at the post office.


and since they didn't directly sended to our PO BOX, it did take extra days.....

ps.: hi!Itwillhappensoon. are you applying from Nepal? we are on the same date!! same board. so possible he got letter already!!

Yes we are also applying from Nepal. I will pass this info to my spouse who is at this time in India..what a timing.. left ktm just couple of days back .on friday. Thanks alot for sharing this info.
