WWWWWWWWWWWWOWWWWWWWWWW..Great!!!!!!....Decision made for me....Hope I get my visa sooner than later. Thanx to everyone on the forum for their help.....It has been a long wait for me as the entire process took around 12 months as my background checks took around 8 months ...Thanx again!!!!!!

So my status still says "In Process"!! *sigh* I finally gave in and emailed CHC ND the very first time asking for a status update and requesting them to acknowledge receipt of my Passport, PCCs!! Will keep you posted as/when they revert. Good Luck all!

@xyrus they do reply to the emails ...i emailed them twice asking abt my status and later i was worried if my passport has reached or not .for the passport they replied saying application has received one original passprt but for status they said its awaiting case officer;s review..
let me know when u will hear from them..

SIM,CHINTHU,RAHUL ...we all have about the same time line....hope we get to hear from cic soon....according to me they just started looking at our applications last monday as i received a call from CHC-ND last week.she said it would still take some more time..I guess my mid october we should hear something

hi .. now i am getting doubt like whether they received my pp or not ... eventhough bluedart tracker says my pp is delivered to CHC,ND still i am scared now ..

feel like mailing them reg my pp and process status ... but so scared thinking tht this may delay my process ..

somebody pls pour some strength giving words ...

i am expecting to get my visa by this month end .. eagerly waiting to join my husband atleast by 3rd wk of oct2010 .. something miracle should happen now to get my visa soon ...

@poodles: oh really they started last week n i was expecting maybe by end of this month i will get some good news coz i ve heard that it takes around 5 weeks after u mail ur passport n today 5th week completed..!!
anyways why did they call you though?? can u share that..??

@chinthu: I dnt thnk by emailing CHC they would delay the process..feel free to email them n ask them..atleast it will free u from the worries of ur passport's delivery...rest i would say dnt worry..if the bluedart tracker confirms the delivery then u shuldnt be worrying.. ...
i wanna join my husband too asap..!!

Hi Guys, my Ecas status changed to "Decision Made"....excited n waiting for VISA....In my case it took around 8 weeks from the day they received my PP to "Decision Made"...so hang on...be patient....ur time will definitely come..I didnt emailed them after sending my PP as its always in the time frame of 4-8 weeks for the final decision. If u find that there are no querries or letters from the CHC side...within the first few weeks then its almost sure that the case is in the final stage of approval...S relax and be cool....its about a matter of week or so...All the very Best!!!!

@rocky636: well in my case I emailed them twice (on sat and on monday)..they replied me back on thursdays (9sep and 16 sep)..so like aftr 3 working days i got their replies..but the email address that u will use shuld be the one you gave it in your application otherwise they wont reply..

Hi Everybody,

I just wanna update u on my situation ,i got a verifcation call from CHC -ND .The lady called to ask and verify a few questions regarding my application such as date of marriage ,date of my spouse visit ,at the end of the conversation she also asked if i had any questions and i just asked her how long it would take to hear from them ,she said that she cannot comment on that and il have to wait to hear from them ,i was so nervous as they caught me off gaurd and put me on the spot as i was at work ,i answered her questions but i was nervous as i was surprised by this call. The number she called me from is 111 -41782000 at around 3 pm in the afternoon.
I have heard of verification calls for FSW category but i havent heard of verification calls for spousal category ,does anybody have any insight on this .im so nervous now.

Sorry was busy in applying for sin no, bank account and other stuff for wife.
So who get the update this week.. i wish minku and xyrus get the decision made today....

Xyrus dude question for you again : is the buffalo work same like delhi ? means they ask for pp in the begining or end of the procedure ?

Per posts on Buffalo thread, the practice followed by Visa Officers is to mail out PPRs only when they have approved the case and are ready to stamp the PPs!

My Update - So me and my wife have got super paranoid about the visa situation now and she approached the MPs office to enquire the current status on my case. We should hopefully have a status update soon now!
