yes you can contact your MP after few days maybe next week and give them all of your details such as UCI, FILE NUMBER, NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH, Name of VO. your MP might ask you to fill out consent form, if you are contacting MP by email, download that form from CIC and if you are planning to visit MP office, they will ask you to sign a form to release information from CIC on your behalf.

HEYYYYYYYY

My wife got a call from ND today.
A lady, with indian accent, spoke on the phone, and clearly explained why she called.

She informed my wife that our PR is approved and they will stamp the visa and send it to us and we should be getting it in a week or 10 days.
She told she made the call only to confirm that if my wife can travel before july 07, our medical expiry.

She even told that, they told my MP yesterday that it is still in process. But today they made the decision.

Our anniversary is on 20-june, even if she cant make it before that, we are happy that atlast we have a good news to celebrate!!!!

Thanks to the God Almighty !!!!!

yes my mom called my MP from Canada and she said she would be happy to help and put in an inquiry about our case. you shoudl call your MP first I think and then send them an email with the consent form and other information about your case (UCI and file number, birth dates of both, full names). hi arpit,
as per my knowledge, you can not change your visa office during processing, if you want to do that, you will have to apply again from starting.
you have 3 options after PPR
- fly to India and submit your passport immediately
-send your passport with someone else, flying to India (friend/relative)
- send letter/email to ND and ask them to request passport later, when visa is ready.

i didnot get any changes in my e cas status as it is shown "application received" it is going to complete one month on 18th of june foe receiving my passport in ND ,i have no travel history & a simple case ....
pls help me what should i do as i am very much worried about this

It was the same for us... it's been more than 3 months now and no news at all. I have contacted my MP so not sure if things will move faster. You just need a bit more patience and try to contact your MP in a month or two.

its been mor than 25 days for our file to get transferred to new delhi and we didnt recievd any passport request..as i am noticing in this thread dat usually within 15-20 days ppl gt ppr...is it normal ???

Hi, average does seem to be 2-3 weeks for PPR. But I rec'd PPR just under 6 weeks. I'm sure you'll get it soon.

But if you check new delhi spreadsheet, you will see 80% people get thier ppr in 20 days... its been 15 days since my file transfer to nd. I am hopeing that my ppr come this week or next week. I miss,my wife so much

I am not sure about the 1 or 2 weeks part.
But this indicates that all your papers are OK and only the final review is pending (just as it was in my case).
Since your medicals are expiring in august, you will surely get it before that.

Just got a reply from my MP. Delhi is going to waived the interview for my husband which is good news.

On the other hand, the told us they never received the payment for the right to permanent residence but that receipt was with the passport when we sent it to Delhi. How can they receive the passport but not the receipt??? And on top of that, we only hear about it 3 months later when my MP contacts them. It is so frustrating!

Hi guys,
I am Indian citizen staying in US and my wife is in Canada . She has applied for my PR our file is processed in Canada and it has been send to CHC ND for further processing. Now i will have to go to india when i get the PPR request at my USA address. Would it have been better for me to select Newyork - Buffalo office for processing my visa instead of selecting CHC-ND because am staying in USA right now? By any chance is it possible for me to change my office to Newyork-Buffalo.

It looks like you are now half way through the processing. You probably need to travel to India to submit your passport because sending of passport in and out of the country by mail or courier is illegal.

On the other hand, if you think you are staying in US for at least 2-3 years it would make more since to transfer your case from ND to US. The negative side of this is that once the case is transferred to US, your case will be processed from beginning. The total processing time there would be 12-15 months.
