but my application was approved June 26...and then transfered to buffalo...then in July 26 they transfered it to ND...Dec 3 it said Medicals recd..

Hey Mukal,
I just checked our eacs and our address disappeared too. This happened once before. Our address was gone for 2 weeks and we got our PPR the same day our address reappeared. Let us hope there is some good news in store for us.
Kannadiga, how about your ecas? Is your address still there?

my address on ecas is gone too lol


my sis applied in august 2007 and they asked for documents in jan 2010 and it was under process..
and in dec 2011 they ask for medical and updated educational documents..
medical and documents were sent on 10 jan 2012..

and i am checking daily on ecas..the strange thing is they havent updated ecas..it just says application recieved not even in process lol and its been like that since ummm..since i got the file number ...

yesterday i checked they the address has disappeared..i was happy..i was like oh god atleast they did something lol..but after checking this forum..seems like its a bug since its happening to everyone..

anyone knows how much time it usually takes for visa after medical has been sent?

my sis applied from canada with help of cwc immigrations..and they have office in canada and india..
they asked for indian mailing address with medical..i am not sure if the address has been updated on my file..i called the cwc and they say everything works over email..i am wondering how will embassy know where to send passports /documents/letters etc... will they email cwc and ask them or what?
i am kinda lost here..
it was a bad decision to chose cwc immigration solutions...these guys are so unprofessional..i can go take a piss all over the cwc.. but am kinda afraid they can mess up my case lol

Im July end transfer...and similar to you, my medicals recd happened Dec 3. Nothin since then...

My medicals were updated on the same day i.e dec 3 and now on jan 13 they updated in process. Wat is ur staus by the way? Did u ever got in process on ur ecas?

Hello Jatt bhaji,
normally the address on your file is that of your representative... meaning that every correspondence from Canadian embassy will have to pass through your rep and you stand at cwc's mercy to inform you in timely manner of any requirements by the embassy.
What I did in my case was that I sent them a scanned copy of signed "Change of Address" request letter through "case specific inquiry" (link below) and my personal mailing was updated in their system.
