Hi Folks!!!

I am unable to see any update in ecas, a month earlier it was showing PPR request date but now its not even showing any recent activity, not even PPR request date. Any one having same issues. Thx

how do u know tht ppr was generated on 29 sep n lost on the way to u ?
did u send any covering letter with pp or just ur pp nothing else? wht did u write on tht ?

Hey gwalyat see the thing with my PPR is it got lost in the mail the orginal one was sent on August 8,2011 that never reached my wife so september 29,2011 i landed in ND and i couriered my passport to high commission and was received the same day without the PPR letter they sent me was that ok cuz i dont have the letter, Will they continue processing my file without asking me for the letter please advice thank yoou

What do you suggest when sending out a passport? Should we only include passport or another
Document as well?

thanks for these inspirational words...
you know i have tried everything (CSE,fax,email and mp) but no body replied me..
its not only happening in india..same is in Mississauga.nobody is not even replying him there...
from the April we are trying hard to update our landing fee..and its now October ..all in vain
anyways i have no hopes with ND... only god and mp can do something..

Oh yeah your fees. You know what I would do, after they don't respond to anything, I'd just go ahead and pay them the landing fees again!! Because it's just not worth all the hassle and headache and time wasted. It's money and it will come back again, right now your goal is to get to Canada, and if later on they see that u paid double, I'm sure they will give your money back! but that's just me.

Anyway, just pray to Waheguru (assuming that you are Sikh), he knows what's best for you!

Ok, because I would prefer keeping the original documents of everything they send me, for my own record purposes or if they say something like "we never sent u a letter" and I can just pull out the original and be like, "Yes you did! Suckaaaaz" ;D

Aman..dont worry man you will get Visa soon, I'm in the same boat as you, I also applied
march 1 and my six month deadline is October 10. I have done an enquiry with MP but
still waiting for a reply and my lawyer received an email last week saying that my file is
with the Visa Officer for Final Review. I have also just submitted a CSE and will have
my MP send another enquiry if dont hear back this week.

Did you reach your MP yet? If so any reply?...I know they barely reply to emails but
i suggest sending more emails and highliting the six month dealine reached in subject.

ya..our time lines are same...my time is goin to end on 5 oct..means tomorrow
2 months back i mailed ND...they replied me dat your file is with visa officer for review
yes we approached mp..he said..everything is ok..everythng is done..but landing fee is pending...so from that day we are working on landing fee

Well, you sent the fees and even now it's causing confusion! Wait another two weeks and see what happens, send them an email everyday, stating on the subject that it has been 6months or passed your processing times!

I am too Sikh (but not really religious), I don't believe in every religion but I do respect it. Anyway not that it matters!

Im looking forward to being around a large population of Indians in Canada. There aren't many Indian people where I live. They are all spread a part, so it would be great to live amongst my own people fOr a change- actually Montreal doesn't have a lot of Indian population either, darn!!
