Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Your medical results have been received and your application is currently pending review by a visa officer. Once a decision has been reached, you will be notified.

Can u guys suggest what next thing is in line for me...till date i dint get PPR from them....should i expect PPr next???

Hi Nancy

I am new here, but I have been following other people's post on this forum. My husband received a similar email on october 18th saying file is pending final review by visa office. Till date we have not heard anything. my Ecas status only shows application received from July 22nd,, they did not bother changing it ever since. This whole process is so frustrating, god knows why updating status and giving a proper timeline is so difficult for ND VO?

mine 6 months r over too dont know wht these people r doing 11 may got approval 19 may nd received my file, no update since interview, >:( address isnt vanished, praying hard

@ Yug

I would not really go by the processing times you mentioned for the CHC at New Delhi because if you scroll down the page, it was last updated on March 8, 2010.

@mapledreams

as long as no changes have been made I think so dates still stand true, but I think by saying 6 months from the time "the application is accepted by Case Processing Centre - Mississauga" they mean - 6 months from the time the Sponsorship Application is approved...

so Yug your 6 months are just over today and gwalyat your 6 months are not yet over

but go and contact your local MP's office nahhh??? have you guys hired lawyers??? eat every1's head up but don't worry u just be happy and b sure it will all happen at the right time...no use coming quickly and then fighting and getting stressed...be sure things happen the way and at the time they're meant to

Hey Guys,

This is for the applicants whose applications have been approved and sent out to the designated foreign VO's or who are midway or done with the process:

After how many days/weeks does the VO receive our file transfer?

If so, how is the applicant for permanent residence notified?

Does it ever appear on Ecas?

We got a letter dated October 31st saying that our sponsorship was approved and file has been sent out to New Delhi.

Your inputs are highly appreciated.

Though i'm not an aug applicant just wanted to share the info what I know:
I have observed that specifically in CHC-ND the average time it takes for our file to be transferred to ND is 15 days.

Congratulations on your PR... :)
i wanted to ask you does New Delhi entertain status enquiry in person...
coz i have got my medicals done on 18th june 2011 but i submitted my spouse documents on 30th may 2011 except passport copies which sent later on 27 august 2011.
Now its been more than 5 months i am waiting on my souse medical.
I have no idea y is this taking soo long and also CIC is not replying on email.. So i really keen to know if i can really visit CHC office in New Delhi... Please suggest..
