there is something available on gc website that has name change or adding surname etc and once u get the certificate then u can get the name updated on SIN, PR CARD AND AS WELL AS ON HEALTH CARD

i was asking abt a name change ASSUMPTION.

It is clear now...we just happened to meet a idiot @ OHIP.

now once i will get PR card then i will get the name changed and will get Surname added to it.

Your PR card will be issued in the same name as you have on your COPR.
Then you have to correct the name if it is wrong.

Hey guys!!

Landed yesterday in vancouver. It was very smooth from india to vancouver all the way... No questions at all asked by any of immigration officer... Customs were pretty cool too.. didnt fill in any B4/B4A..

Overall i was outta airport in 20 mins after plane landed...

HI fprince, I had changed my drl and my ohip card after marriage and they used my Georgia State marriage certificate (USA). To my knowledge that is a dumb thing asked to your wife as there is no such thing that i know of that u need a canadian marrige certi. In other words what are they not recognizing the marriage....bunch of bloddy twits...

no updates even today

but i emailed ND today regarding my six month processing time completion along with this i have send them CSE too
hope this will shake their heads..please pray for me guys...

ya..our time lines are same...my time is goin to end on 5 oct..means tomorrow
2 months back i mailed ND...they replied me dat your file is with visa officer for review
yes we approached mp..he said..everything is ok..everythng is done..but landing fee is pending...so from that day we are working on landing fee

Aman do u remember how long it take for ND to answer ur MP's enquiry? My MP sent an enquity one week
ago and still waiting, I thought they usually reply to MP soon?

as whenever i email them i always get "request confirmation" from nd...
but 2day i email them twice but i didn't get it....
is this means that they haven't got m email or wat????

Do you guys know of anyone on here that got their passport stamped and given back to them at the interview? Just thinking about your situation Yug, and everyone else who has had an interview long back but not gotten back their passport yet

ago and still waiting, I thought they usually reply to MP soon?

Did u try to do a second enquiry with your MP?

he answered us after 12 to 15 days means after 2 weeks..so w8t for one week more

yes we will put another enquiry very soon..may be after one week..cos contacting them very rapidly or frequently may irritate them,.,,so

so sometimes it becomes difficult for us to handle our self as well as our partner

That's a good question you asked here. Im looking forward to the tips from other members.

As for how I handle it, we never talk about immigration or missing each other and stuff. But then, we just started on this road for 3 months, so maybe we arent finding it that difficult. Besides, I love my mommy and want to spend as much time as I can this her, and I will have the rest of my life with my husband anyway. So yeah, its easier taking it that way

avoid talking about immigration is good..but i really cant avoid this immigration topic ....

what me and my hubby do is...we talk about those moments which we have spent together ..so memorizing those moments always refresh us,but sometimes it really dont work cos from past 8 months we are suffering from this thing....yes..sometimes we plan our future too ....
