New Delhi office process files from buthan, India and Nepal countries.
is it possible for me to select New Delhi instead of Islamabad office? since islamabad take 23 months and new delhi take 6 months to process.

In my application for spouse sponsorship here is the update

They received my application to sponsor on May 4, 2011.

They started processing my application on June 3, 2011.

They sent me a letter on June 3, 2011 about the decision on your application
They received application for permanent residence on June 16, 2011.

Anybody around that time frame receive a letter from delhi .Please post your status

I'm sorry ND is dumb..

Try sending them a CSE.

Also, best bet is take the PPR letter, your reciept that u had sent them the passport and confirmation that they had recieved it. Also take the 2nd letter you got asking you to submit your passport go see ND on saturday during their public visiting hours. Tell them to stop being stupid and messing with people. kidding..don't say that, just let them know u had recived this letter even after u had sent in your passport.

i send it to canadian high comision, imigration section , chnakpuri new delhi 110021..sum thinglike dat by speed post ..n i check online delivery of my post it shwos that they delierved it to chc on 5th july..thnkx alot for u help man

@ Engineer,

This is not a huge problem. It is simply an overlap in them receiving it and not having added the ppt to your file and your IO sending a general letter asking for your PPT. It has happend before. It takes up a few weeks for them to add the ppt to the files since they receive so much correspondence daily. So simply, it was delievered but before your IP added it to the file, they sent you a letter most likely.

Simply, send a fax with your info (client ID ect) and also the receipt and small note explaining you sent it already and you will be fine. I don't think this requires you to go the CHC ND for this, as it is a common thing that can happen.

thnkx everyone for ur kind help ...i hope dat dey jst send me letter by mistake n i hope dat dey recieve my passport already...but dear i see trend here dat da person whos staus change to "medical accept " on 5july he got visa on 9th july and whos status changed to medical recieved on 6thjuly he got visa on 10thjuly...n my status is changes to " medical recieved " on 11 july so it must change on 15th but it didnt yet...
n one thing more which is the most expected time to change in satus is it according to indian time or canadina time ..at wat time i check generrally

I am in the same situation. Please check your letter again

They must be asking for your old passport and travel history.
Please check if they are asking for your old passport or not.
If they are not asking for the old passport and asking for the same new passport then simply fill the "Delhi supplimentary information form with the travel history and attach an application stating that you had already sent the passport on such and such date.


In my case I did not send the old pp because i was not able to find it thus i got a letter within few days asking for old PP with its specific number and travel history (i.e. Delhi supplimentary information form) which i sent the next day
