my application is already in ND from second week of May and after two weeks, they requested PP. So that's why I was just curious about the time in my case.

Ya mine says the same says thing. We have yet to receive our PR either.

Could this stupid delay in the PR card be cos of the Ecas Screw up, you should know more.
Do they process the PR Card after the E-cas update or just with the physical evidence of the COPR we sign during landing.
I do know it has been a very long wait for you, but this should have been avoided and i do not think this delay has anything to do with the Can Post strike...

All i am hearing is good but process has been toolong i think After successful interview i m still waiting for immigrant visa my spousal sponcership also took too long VO said she will issue visa its 8 weeks now but no news as yet is anybody have any idea tottaly 9 months is completed since we started our processing my husband also been with me for interview i am worried now how long wud they take more its quite difficult day by day to be away from him ????????????????

Well as far as how ECas works and affects the PR card, I don't know but I thought I read about others whose updated to completed after they landed. I called about ours. They told me some crap story that it was picked up by an auditing team who check the quality of work other the employees. I got pissed because they told me it could be a few months. I said so if he needs to travel he is gonna have to go without the card and apply for a travel document, that's not fair. They said it was out of their control. Upon a second call they said it was complete June 15th.. WE ARE STILL WAITING. Call and find out. Their whole 30 - 40 days wait is crap.

hey fprince my status is still application received pp received by nd 7june n original pics request was sent which received by nd on 21 june. shall i wait or send them email? as they have changed the status of most of people whose file they just received.......plz advice

So another unnecessarily prolonged case from CHC,ND.My spouse too had a phone screening on April,14th.On 12th May the pp was delivered.Its now my 7th month at ND.

dont worry, i have observed few cases let me quote u the example

girmi got pp request, and still it said app received, got additonal docs request, it still said app received and it directly changed to decision made

in case of waiting4it they asked for pp and it was app received and then it changed to in process and within few days asked for new passport because old pp has some issues and then from in process to decision made

in my case, my pp was sent,it was app received, then it changed to in process and they asked for additonal docs which were delivered on 20th june and is still in process

To conclude that. it means for some people it can go to decision made from app received and for some people it goes from app received to in process and then decision made. thus no need to worry!! enjoy ur time and have a blessed day!

When is the date of sponsorship approval? in the letter.

If it is below 3.5 months from today i wouldn't bother as their SLA is 6 months since the approval date.
