Sorry all for the delay. It has been a crazy past couple of weeks between the immigration process, work, volunteer work, and family stuff.

So here is the saga:
The high commission finally returned my husband's email stating the time and place of his interview and that if he didn't get the letter to print off the email and bring it with him to the interview. Which he never received, so if this happens to you be pro-active. Btw, I did a case enquiry and sent a fax to the ND and they did respond to this.

He went to the interview and he said there were a lot of people waiting for an interview as well. He had to wait over an hour past his scheduled interview time.

His interview lasted ~ 10 minutes. They asked basic questions about me. eg Where do I work? For how long? My job before? What I do? They also asked why we didn't get married a long time ago. And they asked something about why I married him, weird? At the end of the interview, they gave him back the pictures I submitted in the application and told him he would receive his passport in the mail.

They never called me.

I checked ecas yesterday and it said under Perm Res: In process, and it finally had more info like medical results received.

Oh and intermittantly since May 4, ecas would show his address and then it would dissapear over and over again.

And today this is what ecas says:
We received your application for permanent residence on March 14, 2011.
We started processing your application on May 4, 2011.
Medical results have been received.
Interview scheduled for May 4, 2011.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I am not going to make any presumptions about the decision. I will wait till my husband tells me he has received his passport and what the decision is.

We received xxxxxx application for permanent residence on February 21, 2011.

We started processing xxxxxx application on May 5, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on xxxxxx application. The office will contact xxxxxx concerning this decision.

So, it went directly from "Application Received" to "Decision Made".

Yeah I really don't want to contact them at all, I just want them to process, and I raelly hope that PPR will be home soon, then its just one more step....

@ DNT, you shuld give them 8 weeks in ND and then u can email abt the File# & PPR.
But i see a PPR on its way buddy...

The question about why married was really weird, and what did he answer? Thanks for sharing the questions, I want to make sure I prepare my wife, incase she lands a phone interview.

I would take this is a POSITIVE, i'm sure you can celebrate, as the visa is on the way... I say give about 9 or so days and you will see that plastic with the shiny stuff

So my wife received a reply today for the 2nd CSE she sent on April 14,2011.
The email this time was from a person @ international.gc.ca but the content was generic.
They have asked her to send her Passport to New Dehi, no other details.

Back in Jan/Feb i remember one more member being asked for PP through email and one applicant was reached on the phone for the PPR.
I have to go back and check now..since i don't have a PPR, i think she will have to send it with the email as proof...not sure if i should send anything else other than the PP.

Hope this is a positive sign after waiting for more than 5 months now....
