Really in all this mess of checking status 100 times .................this website has helped...........

understaff is not our problem......they have to find solution for that. according to information CIC is not a burden on taxpayers. fees we pay are covering all the expenses so if they need more staff they must recruit more and help unemployment.

infact CIC have big money...waiting time is so high for many classes and countries that CIC is making good money from interest for fees deposited.

CIC must recruit more people to bring down wait time but i guess it not the problem of understaff....its just that they are high headed, less efficient people. and red-tapism is at highest level in CIC...they are provided with so many previledges like no right to appeal for visitor visa.....no right to appeal for inlanders....VO's decision is final....VO can not be questioned....applicants can not contact them....why? why?

if they have call centre..why call center can not provide the information???? if MP can pull information why can't apllicants....its just to creat hype....anybody can contact MP and get information...what is the need to bring MP into loop for bringing the info out....

They must make the status info available via call center otherwise call center is not needed....they are spending meaninglessly on call center if they dont provide the required information........

I noticed one thing ..........................


in some case they ask passport first and then DELAY.........................

and other cases ...............they DELAY first and then ask for passport...............

the only thing common in both is DELAY ......................

I want to name NEW DELHI as NEW DEL- AY.......

Hows that?????

how did u send ur passport?? and did u get any confirmation that they have recceived for ur courier.............

I did send my passport thru speed post ................................and no replies till date it is almost 9 days ..........................

I sent it by speedpost on 24th evening and got confirmation on speedpost website that CHC, ND have received it on 25th morning 10:30am

New Del-ay....good one

Cool & Def,

They wont confirm on receipt of passport...jus be relaxed and you will get your Visa soon. You are just stressing yourself on something which delhi will never give you confirmation on..which is BS anyways as it a PASSPORT..but that's how they work..jus be cool

ND dont give any confirmation to applicant about receipt of PP.

I also dont have any info from ND if they have received my PP. I only have confirmation from Speedpost website that they have delivered to ND.

I am thinking of writing to ND to know if they have received my PP but What I know from others reply from ND, ND does not reply to our query they just write some crap formal generic reply.....i am confused if I should write ND or not....

i am planning to go back to india in june hope that i get something before that...............

because.........july and august air fare is almost double...................................I checked all air flights it is killing...............hope something happens before june.....................

Def - your tracking number is the confirmation that they got it

cool - yes one way flight tickets soar up to 85,000INR in aug/sept due to the start of college here...

and you both will get your visa in a few weeks

If I wud have been in ur place I might have gone mad........I am following ur case closly with all ur posts here.....and seriously i find no clue about ur case....nobody is sure whats happning....i wish ND have ur file now and must have started working on ur file....wish u luck and speedy processing for ur visa and PPR

I checked the flight rates in june/july august for emirates it is 2600$ plus and for jet airways it is 2000 plus.................I cannot go by usa......

hey I have multipul entry US visitor visa with long validity...can I go via US? i mean i will be in US only for transit hours....is it okay for me?
