@ Panda, did your status change yet? its so confusing

@ Fprince

My Status changed on last Friday to "IN PROCESS"

The started the processing of my file on Feb 18, thats what I says for now and Medical Results have been received

That's it

But the question is where are the PPRs it would be nice if at least they can mention that we mailed you a PPR letter or something like that so that we can keep an eye on it

Here is one case from trackitt.com

User: kumari
Nationality: Canada
Application Filed: 02 Dec 2010
Canadian Visa Office: New Delhi, India
Family Program: Spouses & Partners
Medicals Done: 01 Nov 2010
Medicals Sent: 02 Dec 2010
Sponsorship Approved: 06 Jan 2011
AOR Received Date: 17 Jan 2011
File Transferred to Local Consulate: 06 Jan 2011
Documents Requested: 31 Jan 2011
Passport Requested: 25 Jan 2011
Application Status: pending

From the case above it looks like New Delhi usually asks for additional documents ( if needed ) in the 1st month of the review and then issue the PPR, so applicants who do now hear anything from New Delhi in the 1st month of review will usually get the PPR letter direct or a personal interview at the Visa Office.

Your thoughts are welcome !

That is my confusion, they never say what in process means. Our files have been sitting there for 6 weeks now so i assume we will get a PPR letter this week..you, me and goodnews are around the same time..mine says started processing from feb 15th but still it should be the same batch..i hope to see a letter by this friday..other than that i am clueless as to the timeline..will it be faster for us as it has been there for a while?

Only GOD knows if it is going to faster or no, you and goodnews are my leads so guys you are going to tell me that you got the PPR and then I will wait for it lol

I wish we could access the Notes from Immigration officer on our files, I think you can order the CAIPS notes if you want, various websites offer that service but I don't know if it's a good idea or no , It takes around 30-35 days to order CAIPS but not worth I think

Ecas is sufficient lol

we are well past the first month of review :P

Just for the Information that the 6 months time frame that New Delhi sets are the Processing times for these Spouse applications and are calculated from the date on which the application is accepted by Case Processing Centre - Mississauga :-)
