My timeline is also similar to you. i have also sent my passport ages ago and now waiting.

where are you from??
Do you have any Travel History?
did Embassy contact you recently and asked for any documents??

I had a travel history,and status is also showing ''Application received"
dont know when it comes to ''In process''
lets see the game hows it goes.
enjoy the momemts,,dont worry,will get something soon,at least ,they have to finsih our application.
also if our partners are with us,we dont need to afraid.
lets see what going on,,,I have now 48 days to send the passport ,,,



hope to listen good news,,it is better if ND direct do our files to DM,lol

since ksunny and macadamia have got "In Process" very recently, they can expect a DM pretty soon in the upcoming week, going by the trend.

I think my application got slipped away, otherwise I should have got it by now

So as for the rest of us, lets pray and hope for a speedy process.

I was following my cousin's timeline from 2 years ago and when she came to the 30 day mark after the PPR, she just sent ND an e-mail asking them to confirm that they received Passport and they e-mailed her back letting her know that they were on the final stages and the day after that e-mail response, she got a DM.

Maybe if you send them an e-mail, it will make them enquire and pull up your file and force them to finish reviewing it.

I know how frustrating it can be so trying anything at this point won't harm you.

Actually, this form also has a negative effect on me

considering my case, my file was transferred to Delhi on Dec 12. Just 3 months have passed since then.
so I am really only half way through their normal processing time.
so I shouldn't be panicking at this point of time.

since everybody in the same vicinity and even some who applied in nov got visa, my impatience have increased.

otherwise it should be fine...

Yeah you haven't passed the 6 month mark--you're right.

I mentioned that option because my cousin got her visa in 100 days starting from AOR to DM. She was wayyy within the 6 month mark and her e-mail didn't ask about the status, just to confirm they received the passport. I just feel like any e-mail you send them, they don't really read your actual request but give you a status update anyways.

It's silly but I guess its the way it is!

It changed to In Process on Feb-25. Till then it was application received.

But hey, dont take it as a benchmark. there was one person here called Funky, who got the visa delivered by post, but E-CAs was still "application received".

Getting passport sent outside India from New Delhi

Hello Everyone,

I live in Toronto and applied for my Spousal Class Permanent Residency at the New Delhi office through my wife who is a Canadian PR. At that time I was not aware that New Delhi wouldn't return passports outside of India, Nepal or Bhutan. Now, they have requested that I send the passport to the New Delhi office. Does anyone know how I can get them to return the passport back to Canada?

just some general information for everyone

as much as e-cas is supposed to help us get an idea of where the file stands, it is not always correct. there have in a few cases where the e-cas read 'app recd' even when the individual received their PP with Visa. mine went from 'in process' to 'decision made', back to 'in process', and my spouse received the visa. e-cas still shows 'in process'

bottomline, e-cas is not always correct!

Re: Getting passport sent outside India from New Delhi

unfortunately they can't its illegal to do so. thats why they have two PR processes applying for within Canada or outside. looks like you applied for outside so you'll need to go back to india and send your passport in...as for you to get your PR you need to enter into canada from land, sea or air with your new Visa for it to take effect so you will need to leave canada to come back in.

yes,My wife say too like this ,dont check E-cas,but i am ,,again and again.she also said,dont to comment here and see this comments (in forum)
