thanku. yes am also hoping the same. As we proceed thru lawyer, the letter would go to them , to canada. and hence it l take some time for the PPR to reach them , if at all delhi has sent PPR for me also.

sanyrog:we hav also applied thru lawyer but all the correpondanc will be done with the applicant in india only the sponsorship letter approval goes to lawyer becos that is for the sponsor n they will not send any correspondanc further to him as no one can reciev any letter on behalf of applicant

hey u applied thru lawyer in canada? Our lawyer said PPR goes to them oly, as we ve given thier address as the mailing address .. of both sponsor and applicant.

@ applied03 congrats

@applied03 - can u tell me what mailing address u mentioned in the applicant's forms? Ur Indian one or the lawyer's one?

If you have given Corresponding mailing address for applicant same as sponsor then PPR will go to same address.
But It is always recommended to gv the address of applicant's resident country.
No comments on how ND will send international mail as it is sending PPR in india by cheapest normal mail.

ok :( Since we applied thru lawyer, we didnt have ctrl on that. They filled their address as the mailing one :( they say it takes a month for the to reach them usually :( they ask us to send the ppt within 45days. so am a bit scared.. hoping there wont be any issue cos of postal delay.

@applied :
If they didn't requested any other document except PP then I'm very sure that u r lucky one.. :)
Don't worry it is good sign for you. :)
Hope you get VISA soon...

But Yes something has changed as Me too got the Bar code sticker as KAL mentioned.
May now they are doing it them self only. :)

You can change yor mailing address online or by doing fax.
Whn u login to ecas, you can see the mailing address is mentioned on it.
If it is not your local mailing address, you have option to change it.
We also changed it as I shifted to Mumbai from Pune.
As when they will send you PP back , it will b a big package as it includes all your photographs that u have send while applying.

Our lawyer says thats how the procedure is, if we proceed thru lawyer. Theirs l be the mailing address, as they shud be the ones who knw abt any progress..PPT will be sent back to me to the Indian address. However PPR or any addnal docs will be sent to them oly :( feeling bad that it takes an extra month :(

Also, we havent got any file # yet. so we cant login to eCas yet to change the mailing address. as of now, I oly have my husband's file #. how did u change? fax or online? If thru fax, can u lmk those info? Il ask my lawyer today.
