(A) Very surprised to hear you use the word "racial discrimination". Can't still believe it.
(You might be thinking that they were giving preference to a Canadian in respect to jobs, that to Indians , right?)
If that is the case, you should probably visit YMCA. They can help new immigrants finding jobs and adapting themselves to Canada easily and also help them get the Canadian accent quickly. (I was in Canada for a few months, and so please take my advice)
(B) You said you never got an interview call, which is again surprising.
I have given the contact number of my friend in Toronto on my Resume on the job sites and he got calls from employers to speak to me.
There are lots of employers which were reported by The Star who always give priority to immigrants for social reasons.

Do not comment before landing? It is others word you are believing that your employer talk with your friend. I think it might be employement
agencies call your friend receive, as they want to make you register with them? When you will land then come up with personal experience?
